A fan also has the option to use his/her discretion when they perceive the product they're deciding whether or not they'll consume is going to be a bad one. I'm not pulling my support for the program. Heck, I'm a season ticket holder for a P5 basketball team that's never even won a tournament game. A fan is not duty bound to watch a miserable game. I've sat through many miserable sporting events of all stripes. You're not strange or confused for sticking it out. That's one of the options, too, but choosing not to watch Saturday's football game doesn't make someone a bad fan.

Saturday was the first time I can remember making the conscious decision to not watch the game. After we didn't answer OSU's first score and then OSU scored again, I actually turned it off and left the house. It was a much more peaceful evening.

It's in Orlando...on Thanksgiving Day afternoon... an hour away from their campus. I'm still not expecting much of a turnout.

Kenpom doesn't play the games. We think we have the deepest, most talented team we've had in years. Two of those games are at home. We have a history of playing well at Breslin and Izzo's teams are rarely in peak form in December. We'll know a lot more about this team in the four games leading up to these. Anything can happen.

Tanner's your ideal walk-on. He had mid-major football offers but chose to be a student instead. He actually did that here for basketball, too, before changing his mind. He's a legit college athlete. Maybe not B1G, but if that's what you're filling your walk-on spots with players like that, that's a good situation.

Thompson ran a Princeton offense, I believe. I can't describe the difference to you vs. what we do, but my understanding it is an offense that's supposed to give lesser teams a chance vs. higher talented teams and it held down the talent they were supposed to have.

He mentioned they made some adjustments to their Pack Line defense. Curious what those are and how it will impact things. I think they compacted it in closer to the lane last year. Assuming they extend it back out a bit this year.

He felt more grounded, less flighty, not as much yarn spinning as normal.

It's not starting to look like anything. There haven't been any games yet. We know what we have from him. If the freshmen come in and start raining in 3's and can defend a little, too, you'll probably see them take some of ET's minutes. If not, they won't, but we won't really know that until the games start. Right now, all we have are rumors and speculation based on a few glimpses of practice and what we saw of ET last year.

In some conversations with people around the program, they were cautionsly optimistic, which is as close to saying "we're going to be really, really good" as they've ever come.
