  1. I'd rather take Wingett over a guy like this.
  2. It's the meal you eat between your wake-up snack and your mid-morning nosh. Ah, right. A bowl of pretzles and some Toasty Cheez-its for me.
  3. Wait, I've read a lot of stuff in a lot of places but I haven't seen this intimated...
  4. Eh, from a depth perspective it helps, but he was never that dynamic of a player for Michigan. Steady, but not a guy that dramatically changes the outlook for a team.
  5. Is that a for sure thing for any league? That certainly would be huge. Not sure if it's over the whole continent, but he has dual citizenship. Those leagues all have limits to how many Americans they can take, so having citizenship in an European country gives him an edge up.
  6. It's up to 60 now. No AW III No Shavon Either :-( Yup. Shavon was a great college player but he's either going to play in Europe or go pro in something besides basketball. I wonder what the level/pay of play is in Denmark, where is mother is from? That little thing is going to give him a long career over there if he wants it. He won't count as an American player on European rosters.
  7. 500 Transfers? Really? Somebody fix my math assumptions here but... There are about 350 D1 NCAA basketball teams I believe. If EACH of those averaged 12 players on their rosters that means 4200 players. If 500 of them are transferring, that is 12% of all the players out there! And it has to be higher than that because of the number of players who use up their eligibility. That's crazy! And that's lower than what it was last year. There's likely more to come.
  8. Crazy is, how do I put this, well, he's pretty well sourced. If he is so well sourced, who is in the next assistant coach short list? Give us something. Come on. He's actually given us quite a bit.
  9. Take my fundamental critiques FWIW, but I really liked that when he got the ball on the entry pass that it never hit the ground. He kept it high, went straight to the rim without the dribble.
  10. Losing Beckner wasn't bad luck nor coincidence. So Tim made a bad hire?Someone is guzzling the Haterade. Gu-zzle-ing!!! Not at all. BTW I have no problem using Barnes as a source, where the expectation of someone he works with is in the 18 points a game realm, or to watch the Minnesota situation... This is from someone else. I'll wait for you to bring something to the board with a source... Crazy is, how do I put this, well, he's pretty well sourced.
  11. Hashtag nailed it. Glad my counting skills show up from time to time. (Don't ask my softball team to verify that. I fail there regularly...)
  12. It's much easier for right handed shooters to get a shot off going left. I believe you. It just seems like there's a lot of them that struggle to go left. I could be wrong about that, though.
  13. Roughly 120 declared early. If you include the foreign applicants, you're close to 170...
  14. A right handed shooter that goes to his left a lot. That's interesting to me...
  15. If AW3 didn't put his name in the draft, go through the workouts and combine or whatever he goes through and didn't give his full effort and energy into making it onto an NBA roster, something that's been a life long goal, to play at the highest level of his sport, I'd be really disappointed. Of course he's going to give it his full attention and energy. It'd just be a waste of everyone's time if that wasn't his goal. He's got a pretty dang good scenario to come back to if he's not quite there.
  16. Everything is negotiable.
  17. do you guys really think his mom is playing that big of a role? he's 21 years old. not 14. having said that, i think there's a great chance james comes here. we have a need for a guard, great facilities to train in during his year off, play in the B1G, and miles has great success with transfers. basically the perfect fit. Momma's always play a role. And if she came on the trip, that's generally an indicator her opinion has weight.
  18. Fox does have an app, I've used it. I expect their usage of it will increase and improve in coming years as the demand for it will grow as their profile raises with contracts such as this. They have a bunch of apps but I was never able to watch any Creighton games. In my experience their app is terrible. But btn2go gets better every year so maybe there is hope. That sounds like they were doing you a favor.
