Yep, OSU finished top 50 in the NET despite winning 5 B1G games. They hung 90 on a ton of Q4 teams and their offense efficiency was top 20. Go 9-2 or better in non-con, beat the brakes off the bad teams, find a way to win 10 B1G games between regular season and tournament - and you've probably put yourselves in the selection sunday convo.

Houston had the #1 NET last year despite a much weaker SOS than their P5 peers. Iona, Drake and Yale played a combined 2 less Quad 1/2 games than Nebraska, and won a combined 6 vs Nebraska's 8, and all finished 30 spots ahead of us in the NET. The NET made scheduling tough irrelevant.

We are few and far between. I really wished we tanked harder for Wemby. Nevertheless I expect a really active off-season

As a pacers fan this is very bitter sweet.

Unsure where they go from here. They're close but idk what moves get them over the hump. I see Christy as a scapegoat a lot of places, but there is a strong case our Pitching staff was the 2nd best in the B1G behind Iowa. We should have been a tournament team, but 1 phase seemed to always fail us at the worst times. IDK how Bolt can figure out how to get them to play non-con games with a sense of urgency. If we beat the bad midwest teams in CU, UNO, NDSU SDSU and don't sleepwalk against Iowa and San Diego series - we could have won 40 games.

We've been way too dependent on the long ball all season (same with Maryland). Teams that can string hits together, get the clutch hit, and have pitching depth are so much more dangerous in postseason play....it pains me to say this, but Iowa is built this way.

This might be controversial. But skinless brats are the superior brat, and hyvee's are amazing.

If we get swept we could be in the danger zone for missing the B1G tournament. Really disappointed in this year's team.

On of the Twitter insiders who has been spot on all portal season, basically said NBA or Arky.

Feels like the longest of long shots. But I guess miracles have happened before.

Hopefully there is no end to the portal. We’ve already went to the well x4 on guards and come up empty. I’m guessing it starts to thin out come mid may but have no evidence to support that.

Earlier in the week Robin said they weren’t on any other guards at the moment due to being “all in on Sallis”, so it’s back to the drawing board

Bolt makes some bone headed coaching decisions. That probably puts a nail in the coffin for an at large bid, barring a miracle.

The Wrightsell visit did make me think of the logjam of Him/Keisei/Lawrence. And Sallis possibly wants to play with Wrightsell, and could slot as a combo guard as well. Having 4 off ball guards and zero true point guards would be an odd roster make up. I assume Sallis is the primary ball handler in that situation?

McCollum and Mast shift to priority 1A and priority 1AA

On3’s National Recruiting Analyst listed Xavier, WV and Nebraska as possible landing spots for Kerr Kriisa - but the last line was especially annoying “Keep an eye on Creighton here as well”

He scheduled a visit to WV after his visit with us.
