  1. Wisconsin - JUMP OT- Blaise Keita
  2. This is a basement I could live in
  3. We would have seen Atlason here if we're still interested
  4. Forgetting to predict the score is a new one Nebraska 66 - Wisconsin 63
  5. I really expected Michigan to shut him down. Maybe Wisconsin will but if they're following him out to the panhandle on defense that really opens things up for the rest of the team
  6. Nebraska Cornhuskers (11-14) vs Wisconsin Badgers (14-9) Date: February 11th, 2023 Time: 3:00 pm Arena: PBA Broadcast: BTN Wisconsin Info Head Coach: Greg Gard Location: Madison, WI Conference: B1G Nickname: Badgers Mascot: Bucky Badger Point Spread: Wisconsin by 3.5 Typical Rotation Depth: 8 KenPom rank: 64 A couple of Famous Alumni: Michael Finley, Frank Kaminsky Other: In there last matchup Nebraska upset the #10 Badgers at Madison in the last regular season game of 2022 by a score of 74-73 Brad Davison finally ran out of eligibility. He had played in 10 game vs the Huskers. The only team shooting worse from the FT line in conference than Nebraska is Wisconsin KenPom Analysis: Wisconsin is doing everything slowly. Offensively they are swinging the ball around to hunt for 3pt shots. Have to admit that I haven't watched any Wisconsin basketball this year so I assume they're giving token pressure up the court to burn shot clock. Player to watch: PG Chucky Hepburn Hepburn is already your prototypical Wisconsin PG who controls the offense and takes (and makes) 3pt shots when they run out of shot clock. Chuck is shooting 48% from 3 for the year and 46.8% from 3 in conference. Player to watch: F Tyler Wahl Wahl has struggled to carry part of the scoring load in his senior year to the point that he's shooting 43.6% from the FT line in conference play. Some of the struggles in conference were due to an ankle injury at the beginning of the year. He had a 16 point, 8 assist, 6 rebound game is last time out vs Penn St. PG SG SF PF C Pct 1 23 Chucky Hepburn 6-2 205 So 11 Max Klesmit 6-3 200 Jr 3 Connor Essegian 6-4 185 Fr 5 Tyler Wahl 6-9 225 Sr 22 Steven Crowl 7-0 245 Jr 38.0 Others to watch Crowl is a reliable bucket inside and is capable of taking 3s. Freshman sharp shooter Connor Essegian is shooting 44.2% from 3 Max Klesmit is a glue guy Jordan Davis (Johnny's twin brother) struggles to shoot from outside and comes of the bench after starting most of the season 6'7" F Carter Gilmore brings rebounding off the bench 6' PG Kamari McGee plays for the few minutes Chucky might come off the court UNL Game Notes Probable starters for Nebraska 5 Sam Griesel G 6-7 30 Keisei Tominaga G 6-2 10 Jamarques Lawrence - G 6-3 32 Wilhelm Breidenbach F 6-10 13 Derrick Walker F 6-9 Bench 0 C.J. In what projects to be a low possession game due to neither team being in a hurry to push the ball it's probably beneficial if Nebraska can speed the game up a bit. Assuming that Wisconsin doesn't run away with the game by torching Nebraska from 3, this should be a close one. I like Nebraska's odds for what should be a large crowd in Lincoln. Prediction: Nebraska 66 - Wisconsin 63 View full article

  8. Michigan - JUMP
  9. Penn St - JUMP
  10. All that Keisei stock you bought at the beginning of the season has
  11. Texas pushed Arkansas out of the SWC, then just blew up the conference. They joined the Big 12 and then of course destabilized that conference by pushing Nebraska and Missouri out. Maybe the SEC will be the first conference they belong to that isn't worse for it.
  12. Seems like they stopped in Hampton because of the guy that Forsythe trains with, Nate Logan
  13. It just seemed odd that you would make some sort of comment seemingly to marvel at people bagging on ex-coaches when it seems like you're just biding your time to be the first person to drop a mudpie on the next coach we hire.
  14. The impressive part about Keisei in this one is that Michigan knew he scored 30 the game before
  15. No surprise that Alberts seems to be leaning towards Hoiberg coming back and he also thinks Shatel is full of hot air
  16. It's real interesting because I'm still not sure of what kind of PG that we need. It feels like our offense runs better when we have these big distributors like Dalano two years ago and Griesel/Walker this season. The flipside is that those two years are also us turning the ball over way too much. Ramel is 6'6". Have to wonder if between him and Lawrence if they can keep the ball moving yet secured. Do either Blaise or Breidenbach have the ability to operate as a distributor out of the post? Not real confident there. A big part of what is elevating Keisei's game is Walker operating out of the post. He's been scoring all those back cut layups in part because Walker is a good passer and there isn't anyone clogging up the lane.
  17. I'm rewatching the first 8 minutes here and Dawson and Lawrence weren't sharp and Michigan made us pay. Then it was us throwing zones out there and they went over like Charlie Sheen's pitches in Major League II, specifically the eliminator, the humiliator, and the out-of-stater
  18. Maybe we felt compelled to speed things up to try and get easy buckets in transition but ultimately felt like Michigan controlled the pace which makes it all the more difficult for the type of effort defense we run. Do people feel like we weren't closing out on shots well enough or do people feel like Michigan was just making shots?
  19. I did not expect a reply that would amount to figuratively dropping a full outhouse onto reunion day
  20. Shouldn't have wished for us to score over 70 with that monkey paw
  21. What other basketball coach at Nebraska can you think of that imploded everything around them enough where they had to take a leave of absence in the middle of the season?
