As someone who has posted about both KT and CJ it's hard to figure out how to word these properly to the point where people thought I was being too vague with KT though I'm just trying to convey my lack of confidence in information that isn't first hand on unmade decisions. For instance, it was well known that Trayce Jackson-Davis was going pro at the end of last season. Mike Woodson was at the combine when TJD, after having covid for a few days and unable to travel, called him and decided this was a sign he should stay at Indiana. The point is, you don't know for sure that someone is gone until they're gone.

Keeping Up with Old Friends (The Transferred Thread)
hhcmatt replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I think he still might be playing but he's transitioning from basketball player to self-improvement writer. I unfollowed him on twitter about 6 months ago as the amount he posts on the subject became too numerous for my taste. The funny thing is I wonder how much of parallel CJ Wilcher's career might have to McVeigh -

I have to remember to bring up Ed Chang anytime anyone brings up a starting lineup of Nebraska kids we could have had for the last 10 years -

I have one of those in 2010 that I claim like a Minnesota Gopher football championship

Absolutely, not sure why'd we want him to leave. He knows our system and can shoot. How much he plays really depends on how well he shoots and he sure didn't shoot well this year. Getting pulled from outside forces, no doubt. Just like with everything else we'll see.

Thus far 11/9 - Florida A&M at Nebraska 12/3 - Creighton at Nebraska 12/17 - Nebraska at Kansas St 12/20 - North Dakota at Nebraska Nebraska MTE - We did this in 2021 where we played a game in Thanksgiving vs Auburn (crushed) and then got 3 home games. Could be the same deal or maybe it's 2 game home and 2 at a site.

The word on the street is that Wilcher is going to hit the transfer portal. We'll see what happens because guys change their minds.

At the end of the day 16-16 as a record just doesn't cut it for the post season. Had we played 3 creampuffs instead of that tourney in Orlando we're potentially looking at 18-14 and our resume looks an awful lot like Wisconsin.

The thought that Tim Miles 'left the cupboard bare' in Nebraska never accounted for how good he was at grocery shopping

He is the Masshole Tominaga, made 92 3s this year Seems like we might be contacting guys in the portal enough to make a "Abdelmassih 2023 Memorial Transfer Portal" thread instead of a new thread for each guy.

From what I've heard Hunter coming back to the state of Nebraska isn't likely. -
