  1. We have a legit shot with anyone who visits our campus
  2. Upside: Only played 8 games this year which means medical redshirt. Also started in 2021. Thus even though he's been in school for 3 years I think he has another 3 years of eligibility. Averaged 14.8 ppg and 7.9 rebounds in 2021-22 despite being double teamed. Can foul out the other team's post players. Career 70% FT shooter Downside: Turnover and injury prone, not much of a shot blocker Would be a huge get and probably start over Blaise IMO
  3. Too funny, the thing that stood out to me was Herbie dribbling with Torry Holt's hand
  4. I'm going to try and get my exorcism going the other way after I picked this off of Ebay
  5. He's not Hunter
  6. 6'5" from Long Beach, California Playing for that basketball factory school Southern California Academy where Denim Dawson came from
  7. 3pt shooting combo guard
  8. Me looking at portal offers mentioning Nebraska in the last couple of days
  9. I might have to leave Fred Dryer off my SDSU Mount Rushmore
  10. Put me down for the school of Tony Gywnn, Marshall Faulk and Aguek Arop.
  11. I'd assume that was one of the most watched women's ncaa championship games in history. Kudos for them to figuring out how to capture national attention.
  12. Better than him ending up at Maryland
  13. That's an interesting perspective as I'd think that Sallis as a low volume offensive player would work well with someone like Chucky who is higher volume than either Griesel or Bando ever were. If you were to have guys like Chucky and Keisei taking up a bunch of outside shots I'd think that Sallis would fit in there pretty well given he excels more at the mid-range stuff and obviously is a defensive plus.
  14. The guy with the highest score in our tournament selection is some creighton message board guy who is so unlikeable that most everyone there hates to see him as much as we do. Congratulations on proving how unwanted you are! You're truly a winner!
  15. Congrats to @Ralph Wiggum for being the winning HHC member in the bracket tournament.
  16. Maybe we can have success with a PG who dominates dribbles but it seemed like our offense flowed more when Griesel was our PG and for the most part moved the ball around. However pressure bothered Griesel and we cobbled together answers for that. It would seem we could use a decent number of ball handlers. Lawrence and Lloyd seem like they could be part of that group but it seems like we need at least two more. Keisei, Wilcher, nor Rice seem to be ball handlers. Seems like we need to come away with at least one ball handler. Sallis or Kriesa seem to fit that bill. Hepburn as well if he decides to transfer. We're not in a drivers seat where we can cherry pick transfers so it's about identifying guys we think will work with what we have a handing out offers like they're free drinks after a Nebraska basketball game.
  17. In terms of % of shots taken while on the floor? Not in the same universe at this point. Here is Verge Here is Kerr Kerr has always been a 3pt shootig PG. Verge was a combo guard who spent a season with us learning to be a primary PG. The thing they share in common is that they're polarizing....Verge by dominating the ball so much and Kerr by being a Keisei/Caitlin Clark-esque spectacle on the court. When you're winning, fans love it more. When you're losing, fans place the blame more on that person. This video does a good job on highlighting why Kerr is a lightning rod
  18. In that context it seems like Kerr is a blackhole. However, if you look at their numbers in the context of the team, it paints a different story. In terms of raw numbers, Keisei's are somewhat muted because he was a role player the first half of the season and Nebraska played at a fairly middling pace. When Keisei was on the court, he did lead the team (27.7% )in KenPom's percentage of shots taken. (We absolutely want Keisei to take the most shots as he's a highly efficient scorer). One other thing that makes Keisei special besides his range is his shooting touch inside the arc...he took 141 shots inside the arc in addition to his 165 3s and he shot a remarkable 62.4% from 2. For the last 2 years the centerpiece of Arizona's fast paced offense has been Azuolas Tubelis who essentially dominated the shots like he was Zach Eddy. Unlike Purdue, Arizona didn't surround Tubelis with a bunch of 3pt shooters....just a couple, one of which was Kerr. Besides point guard duty, Kerr was essentially a 3pt specialist, taking only 66 shots inside the arc this last season vs the 277 he took from outside. His KenPom percentage of shots while on the floor was 18.2%, which is less than what Sam Griesel did last year. I don't know enough about Kerr to know if he makes bad decisions or if he plays defense or if he'd be a locker room cancer. What I do know is that he not extremely ball dominant so he'd be able to feed Keisei and that if he ended up in a corner like our PGs tend to in Fred Hoiberg's offense during the course of a play that he'd be able to knock down shots.
