  1. Think that depends on what we think we'll have in BK next season because we likely need another scholarship to bring in someone like that
  2. Valuing guesses over actual production isn't likely to yield accurate results.
  3. It's not dessert
  4. Doesn't it seem like he's punting because of Mast?
  5. 4/13/2023 thread update

  8. Took me a minute as well because I think we're actually talking about Hugley who is scheduled to visit West Virginia after he visits Nebraska.
  9. We have made the top 5
  10. Quote from Hoiberg “Brice provides a lot of versatility and can play several spots in our system,” Hoiberg said. “He is a three-level scorer who moves well without the ball and a high-volume 3-point shooter who shot nearly 40 percent from beyond the arc last season. He provides length and experience on the perimeter and led Charlotte to the CBI championship in March. Brice also has a very good understanding of the game, as his father Henry was a great college player and played professionally in Europe for a long time.” Brice's father Henry is the all-time leading scorer at Charlotte
  11. Blaise Keita doesn't really tweet. Thought this retweet was interesting when i saw it a couple of weeks ago
  12. In terms of roster spots, we don't know if we will have any more attrition and/or if Keisei will return. One observation i'd make is that Sam Hoiberg ended up being a better version of a backup guard than I'd imagined we'd have with a healthy McPherson this last season. If QM is a plus in the chemistry department he's fine but it's not hard to fault him if he wants playing time and moves to get it.
  13. Yup. Man defender ability certainly helps but buy-in and awareness are the things we need for our team scheme. It's harder to individually evaluate that though I'd say Williams defensive rebounding numbers are encouraging for eliminating 2nd chance points.
  14. Last year what we were missing was ball handlers....Griesel did a lot of things well but his handles were a weakness. Really what we need out of Ramel and anyone else we have handling the ball is the ability to bring the ball up the court and not turn it over. I think Ramel is probably more of a combo guard but given we don't want the ball to stick I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing.

  16. We are Uptown Girl. We are the Big 10's preeminent 1980's Billy Joel cover band.
  17. In this crazy small world of ours at one point he was teammates with Lance Jeter and Jason Dourisseau on pro-team Donar https://basketball.eurobasket.com/team/Donar-Groningen/461?Page=1&Year=2018-2019
  18. In terms of getting a plug and play addition to replace Derrick this is quite good. Shoots at a high percentage, can shoot from outside, can pass, and is a plus defender
  19. Familiar name as we played FSU this year and because he was a higher rated recruit than Bryce McGowens. Assume we'll be one of 50 teams reaching out and selling him on getting to the league/fixing his shot.
