Familiar name as we played FSU this year and because he was a higher rated recruit than Bryce McGowens. Assume we'll be one of 50 teams reaching out and selling him on getting to the league/fixing his shot.

FWIW during his time at Charlotte it didn't matter to him if he was starting or coming off the bench. As noted earlier he led the team in scoring while coming off the bench. https://www.wbtv.com/2023/02/07/even-after-all-ups-downs-brice-williams-stays-committed-charlotte/

Wrightsell was the 5th scoring option on the court before becoming the primary scoring option this year. What makes people think that he'd automatically be a volume shooter here as opposed to someone who might just be extremely coachable? Otherwise, the impressive thing about Wrightsell's numbers from last year is that his offensive efficiency increased overall despite the fact he went from being the 5th scoring option in 2021-22 to the first in 2022-23.

This is a board filled with Nebraska basketball insiders. It's just a matter of mentally keeping track of who tends to know what's up. Thus, I'm currently looking for pictures of Williams for our front page

There is no way we will have this problem

The big date to monitor is probably the end of the semester. July 1st would be your Burno/Andrew White unexpected groin kick date.

Yes, they essentially paid him $400k to agree to one-year non-guarenteed contract next season. Either they'll having him locked up for next season or they'll cut him.

They paid him $400k for the last day of the season just to have the option for him next season. https://nypost.com/2023/04/09/knicks-give-isaiah-roby-400k-for-one-day-to-have-him-for-next-season/

Telephone game. You can't take that statement in a vacuum because then you lose the context that this conjecture is based upon the fact that a guess is being made that we will have a better NIL offer than West Virginia. In the context of us potentially trying to spend more money than someone for a player I'd surmise that we value him plenty.

Why are you under the impression that we are not going to sign him? In the context of not signing a talented guy which gets you fired or signing a guy who ruins your team chemistry that gets you fired, having some guy travel to your campus to figure it out is arguably the best time and money you can spend.

If anyone wants to write an apology letter to Robin about Sallis, I have provided the stationary for it below.

Visiting the weekend of April 8th I think he might have 2 years left. Prior to this season he redshirted because of knee injury and played two years prior so I think he's due an extra covid year. Guy is a 3 level scorer who shot lights out even after becoming the focal point of the offense. Also rebounds. Would be a hell of a get and a starter day 1.

The ironic thing about potentially not being able to pay Keisei Tominaga is that no one else can either. If you're running a program like St Mary's where it's built on international players you are currently playing in the world of college basketball on the cheap.

I've always thought that team, which almost made the Final 4, would potentially be better with Scheierman at point than Nembhard but if you have both it makes sense to play Nembhard at the point. Assuming everyone comes back, which is obviously assuming a lot given this news, this is how you put Traudt in your starting lineup. Otherwise it's pretty hilarious to read the replies on Nick Bahe's tweet full of complaints about money tampering like 2 years removed from having an assistant fall on his sword over that very issue.

At one point the guy could make a 3 and his FT numbers indicate that that ability is unlockable. https://www.dawgnation.com/basketball/mens-basketball/georgia-basketball-kario-oquendo-tom-crean/HKCX26XTWVCWJLRBKZZ4VLA26Y/

Seems pretty apparent why there is mutual interest between Oquendo and Nebraska: He's a top level athlete and the one thing he's missing in part to make the NBA is a 3pt shot, which is what Nebraska is selling. I'm looking at his career 72.9% FT shooting average and thinking it's possible.

I'd say the fact that we're in the top 4 for a guy where some recruitnik hasn't linked us to them is an indication that what is publicly put out for consumption doesn't necessarily marry up with the reality of what is happening

If this is your sheet might be helpful to note where these guys have committed when they do
