i kind of liked having gallegos off the bench.

this is probably the biggest game in the tourney for us. If we win this one, we can afford to lose to new mexico. If we lose this one, we really can't afford to lose the rest of the tourney.

There should be a ban on Agau topics until after the season is over.

Seems like he would be a steal, but seems kind of raw. like a taller version of Atewe.

If your coach is smart, he will give it to cady and sampson early and often. Our interior defense is not great and very thin. Our center, Pitchford is 6'10, but he plays like a Small forward on offense and defense. Leslee Smith is 6'8 250 and our only true post player, but he only plays 17 minutes a game off the bench. Lack of big men is our only real weakness besides that we're a really young team. We have 2 talented wings in Shavon Shields and Terran Petteway. Both are about 6'7 and can shoot, drive, and rebound very well. We have 2 point guards in Tai webster and Deverell biggs who are both talented in different ways. Webster is 6'4 200 pounds and is able to drive and shoot. Biggs is 6'0 and extremely athletic and can get to the rim but not known for shooting. ray gallegos is our shooting guard. he is our only senior and our leading scorer from last year. he's 6'2 and is a three point specialist, but also very athletic. he is not a threat to attack the basket though. two other role players are 5'9 pg benny parker and 6'7 sf david rivers. They play hard, but probably are not going to be a threat offensively.

" May have mistaken him with Pitchford... but I mean seeing a 7 foot center on another roster is probably cause for concern for another team who doesnt "know" our team. i know. it's just funny to see anyone worried about vucetic

The selfishness may just be due to the fact that we have been playing some bad competition so far. We will learn a lot about this team this weekend when we play 3 quality teams in 4 days.

This. 20 wins is terribly ambitious for this group right now. how about 19? 19 would at least give us a chance of getting into the tourney. West virginia got in at 19-13 in 2012

If we stay healthy all year, I don't see why we can't hit 20 wins. We have enough talent when healthy. Our schedule is tough enough where maybe 19 wins gets us in.

i'm actually more worried about the non-conference. I think the B1G is slightly overrated, and we are capable of stealing some games. I'll feel pretty good if we have 3 losses our less heading into the B1G.

I definitely saw this...was he trying to check himself into the game or something? My son said the same thing. Looked like he was trying to check himself in. Things could be interesting this year. At least from us who think we know what is happing from afar. I am just as guilted as everybody. Peltz needs to know his role. A walk-on 4th string point guard. He should not see the floor when the team is at full health.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the PBA We'll have a better idea of where this team is at on Thursday.

wasn't this kid involved in a cheating scandal? And I think he went back to his home country after the scandal, and Miles had trouble getting in contact with him. I'm guessing that played a role in releasing him from his scholarship.

so is there any chance of him getting to play basketball his senior season? Could he graduate high school early and enroll here, so he can start working out with the team?

We just need to attack the basket more and stay healthy. We should continue to get better.

I think we should delay any judgements before we see how things look with Biggs and Ray in the rotation.
