I get it - shots aren’t falling and the offense looks clunky. But giving up 51 in a half is simply lack of defensive effort/intensity. Disappointing but still have a chance.

Unfortunately Nebraska is a completely different team today. One of the mysteries of the universe likely never to be fully understood - the inconsistency embedded within teams’ performance from game to game, week to week.

I mean…had to have it. Played well. The lack of consistency is just mind-numbing. What the hell are we supposed to do with this team?

I’m starting to believe he is just the next black hole of the Hoiberg era. A long and distinguished list for sure.

Really hard for me to fully judge at this point having only been able to watch a few games; however, I do remain sadly skeptical of this team’s season long prognosis. Concern remains that HCFH will not permanently adapt to what it takes to win at this level. The most recent example is the ridiculous game plans on offense & defense against Lord Voldemort. He wants to speed up and try to outscore people. He has not had a single team talented enough to do it consistently but that’s his preference, his system and try as he might, he can’t get away from it. I was hopeful that he had “seen the light” after last year - and I hope he does before it’s too late this year. I fully admit recency bias after Sunday and we’ll know a lot more after the next 2 games. I want this to work in the worst way. I am so tired of the coaching carousel.

There’s one constant in college basketball across the board - officiating is awful. Control what you can control - Nebraska did not.

I understand defensive rotations but when a guy is going off like BS, make better decisions and force someone else to take it. Settling way too much for the 3 on offense. Make bad choices on both ends, good teams will make you pay. Lord, I hate that blue team so much & BS is so damn unlikeable.

I missed the memo where it's now standard practice to downvote score predictions.

I don’t - and won’t - follow any players, NU or otherwise. If he doesn’t tweet things like this after a win as well as an embarrassing loss, it just says what I already think about him and that entire program.

First game I’ve had a chance to watch - can’t say I was impressed by much but we got the win. Careless with the ball inside - dribbling in a clogged lane, pivoting into defenders and losing the ball, etc. Hope that gets cleaned up.

Several years of making these predictions and I think this is the first time I've hit the actual game score correctly lol
