Definitely showed the fatigue tonight. I still think they fought hard for the most part - just a grueling stretch for the fellas. Hopefully they can dig deep one more time and knock the Terps out of tourney contention tomorrow night!

Completely agree - and with 7 games in 11 days, I’m not sure we can ask for much more with a straight face.

There’s no need for me to critique it. The good outweighed the bad today and I am so happy for everyone involved with the program. Fought their asses off again and came out on top. I hope they all can take a deep breath, relax and just play this thing out with the knowledge they can compete.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m counting my blessings today - roof over my head, food and drink available and a furnace that is hanging in there. Top it off with getting to watch the Huskers play and it’s just a pretty damn good day. Here’s to seeing that monkey on the back get thrown out into the deep freeze.

I’ll probably have more when I can fully digest it but that was fun. I don’t care about the wins or losses at this point. I just want to see continuous effort and something that looks like basketball for a majority of the game - we did. Nebraska can absolutely build off of this game with a lot of positives on both ends of the floor. (The end of regulation was a disaster for sure.)

The wonderful thing about the game of basketball - on any given night, it can happen for any team.

I have to admit - I'm really tired of the TA experiment. Last night was just the latest example. I fully own that I've never liked his game and I watch him with a hyper-critical eye. As many have already pointed out, the first 10 minutes was actually really good basketball. And TA played a big role in that because he stayed within the offense. He buried 2 wide open 3s and he even kicked it out a couple of times. But there were 3 consecutive plays that turned the game. He drove in and took a terrible shot, then committed an awful foul on the other end, then came back and drove into the trees again. To me, it felt like the rest of the team thought "well, here we go again", got infected by the hero ball virus and we all know how that ends.

He definitely got hot and when he does, he can fill it up. I would respectfully disagree that he is the only one on the roster who can do so. By my count, the team took 14 shots from the floor in the first 10 minutes, Teddy took 7 of them. There are other players who could catch a hot streak and put up similar numbers with that volume of shots taken.
