    Only two names with prior connections that aren't currently on a staff that come to mind are Mark Hsu and Cornell Mann. Both would be good hires, but Fred has a lot of connections so I have to think he'll have more names

    To be fair, technically there's only been 1 guy officially entered the portal. Lloyd looks to be out though.

    It sucks, but it opens up a much needed scholarship if it comes to fruition. If Greisel ends up happening like it looks, I wouldn't be opposed to taking a wing with his scholarship. Whether it be freshman or transfer.

    So Lloyd removed all husker related stuff from his Instagram and removed "husker commit" from his header on Twitter. We'll probably hear something soon on him.

    Having a replacement lined up already would be excellent. Mark Hsu is one I know we were in on when Fred first came, but went elsewhere

    Technically yes, but as we saw with Xavier Johnson first hand, a lot of times players have a great relationship with an assistant and if said assistant leaves the recruits do often also.

    It makes too much sense for him to come back. Even if they bring in another PG, they can run 2 ball handler sets (where Fred's offense is always at it's best). I'm on board for him.

    I looked up his stats and watched a bit of film of Sam, and as a secondary playmaker, he'd be great. Still would prefer an actual point guard though. Sam can hold down for stretches in between though. His teammate jarius cook just entered the portal FWIW.
