  1. MIles said on the post game show that he didn't do anything wrong and that it was a coaches decision. Said that he was the third big and since they weren't in foul trouble they didn't need him. I want to think there is something more there. I haven't seen every game this year. But he seems to be a player that is always doing good things. I understanding shortening your bench and they won last night. But to see him not play at all was kinda odd.
  2. Maybe I'm in the minority, but bis body language drives me crazy. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I hate when he misses shots he throws his head back and jogs back on defense. Seems to care more about points than anything else. Hopefully I'm completely wrong
  3. anybody know our FT percentage?
  4. I've never heard a double dribble called discountinued dribble
  5. he came down on top of him, thats the foul Seemed like the whistle blew before...but maybe that's my internet connection
  6. that was a clean block IMO
  7. From the small sample size I've seen from Pettaway is he's going to frustrate the heck out of you, but also gonna make some big time plays
  8. I'm liking Smith. Too bad we don't have two of him
  9. way to hustle down the court Rivers.
  10. Missed free throws could come back to haunt them
  11. shot selection is horrible
  12. I was going to say something along this earlier. The state of Nebraska (and especially Omaha) produces some quality basketball players, but a majority of them are not at the Big 10/Big East and to an extint Missouri Valley level. Having a school like UNO where they are low level D1 gives those players a chance to stay close to home and play at the D1 level. Just look at the guys that were previous mentioned Bradley and Carter. To build on that. Just imagine if Metro Community College in North Omaha would have a basketball team. They could be very good.
  13. I like these lineups, but the problem with that 2nd lineup and one of my biggest concerns of this year is if Pitchford and Smith get in foul trouble, what are we going to do?? It would have been nice (maybe still can) if Sergei could have developed into giving us 5-10 spot minutes per game. David Rivers does a pretty good job down low but he is 6-7. That's understandable. But that's why I think the first lineup is what starts the game and you'll have rotations to protect those guys. But that's probably what I think they'll have when it comes down to crunch time.
  14. Personally I think that starting Big 10 conference play the starting lineup will probably look like this....... 1. Webster 2. Gallegos 3. Pettaway 4. Shields 5. Pichford But I believe we'll see a lot of this lineup 1. Webster 2. Pettaway 3. Shields 4. Pichford 5. Smith
  15. If this would actually happen I would think Iowa State makes logical sense. I do like the idea of playing DePaul every year and having a presence in Chicago would be nice. But finding and playing games in area where the team and program can be viasable to targeted recruits in a must.
