Mike Hahn went to Pacific. Is that who you're thinking about? He's talking about Wendall Faines who started at Northstar and then transfered to Northeast. He was a 6'8 post player who had a ton of potential but couldn't stay out of trouble. Ended up not qualifying to Drake went to a Prep school and then disappered. Another player that gets forgotten was Jerell Crayton from Bell East who was a 6'6 post player. Went the JUCO route and then ended up at Boise State I believe

Like somebody else stated, they see Fuller as a stretch 4 but feel he needs to add weight so that's probably why he's redshirting. From everything I've heard I think Fuller has a future. Hawkins probably should have redshirted, especially with the early injury. He has no impressed me at all from the little I've seen.

Did anybody else think Webster was a lot more aggressive offensively attacking the basket? Or was it me?

Interesting in that he'll be basically competing against Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Looks like Jay Foreman will be cohosting for a month till they find a permanent replacement. Better hope they find somebody good. Because for me, I have no desire to listen to the new duo

Couple things. Teams need role players. But why are we assuming he can't be more than that?Just from what I've seen out of him. He looks like a 6'9 PF who will be a good defender but most of his offense will be from cleaning up on boards. So are you saying that is a bad thing ? Of course it's not a bad thing. Just saying that he's not very skilled offensively. I've said it before (not sure on here) but I thought Wes Wilkinson was a better player coming out of high school

Not surprised he got suspended for attitude issues, The players at Central are allowed to do anything they want. I do hope he comes to Nebraska if he transfers, but he'll be nothing but a role player. However I have a sneaking suspicion that if he transfers he'll end up at UNO.

Great, great point That's the nice thing about basketball recruiting is you get a chance to see small class kids compete against good competition in the summers. Easier to evaluate basketball players compared to football players.

You can find all of those schools covered on other radio stations. 1620/1180 does UNO basketball and I believe Hockey games. Creighton is also on 1620 and University of Nebraska is on many various chanels like 1110 in Omaha. I don't regularly listen to 590's afternoon talk show, but I know they do talk Husker and Creighton, but also do Iowa too since they broadcast Iowa games.

They didn't dump Creighton, their contract ended and Creighton chose 1620 since the zone does the rest of the Universities' athletic broadcasts. They wanted all of them under the same umbrella.

Who is it?

I saw it right after it happend and it came from one of the students behind the basket. I didn't see who did it, but it was a someone sitting right behind the band. A guy that was sitting at the scorers table in a suit walked over and looked like he was trying to figure out who threw it. About five minutes later another call was made and somebody in that same area threw another one straight up in the air.

If I was Miles I'd start with Pettaway on him and then throw different people at him at different times. But Pettaway is probably the best option. Pettaway has the length to challenge him and the athletic ability to stick with him. But I would put Pichford on him at times, and even Biggs here there. Rivers should see the floor again and probably get the assignment too. I'd also force McDermott to get most of his baskets at the rim. Run him off the 3 point line and try to take away the pull up jumper.
