Calling my shot now: Green and Burke transfer to Wyoming to play for Tim Miles.
-
actually the best passer in the state is Jillian Aschoff of Pius. Too small to play D 1 but she is something else
-
She was better in day 2. Scored 39. But a lot of work left on her outside shot. Amy was in attendance at her game.
-
Thanks Merlin . Hopefully someone can let us know if it’s injury or something else. Seems strange that nothing has been said
-
Bump. Did she travel? Suit up? Injured? Something else? One would think after 2 games of DNP a media member would inquire and comment.

uneblinstu’s postgame chatter: vol 12; ed 30 - at Michigan
HB replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
No. I watch and absolutely can't see it at all. What is obvious is he's a small guy who can't finish at the rim and is a streaky shooter at best who can't make free throws. That guy doesn't get drafted. He would have to dramatically improve his shot to sniff being drafted. Shooting is part of "physical ability". You could see it the first game he played here. -

I have no problem with liking our chances, but watching the games you can tell they haven't packed it in. I'm not letting close scores fool me because I saw the effort first hand. They didn't get those leads by quitting. -

You must not have been watching Minnesota's games. They aren't even close to packing it in. They give great effort, they just struggle to close out games. Oturo is simply an outstanding player. -

You'll be a second round pick at the same time Mack is. -
Has anyone heard anything about the status of Brady?

Went to Weidner’s game tonight. Hard to evaluate because she plays in D2 and the competition is weak. She’s a really good player. Good length for a point guard. Unbelievable passer with great court vision. Not a great shooter; all of her points we’re in the paint. She’s a lefty. Went 1-4 at the line down the stretch. . Will need to get stronger. Overall, I can see what the coaches were thinking, but i not sure she’s a Power 5 point guard.

unfortunately it’s that way across the league. Losing a lot of ground with our young players compared to the competition. Hard to see how this can end well for this staff

2020 PG Grad transfer Kobe Webster - Signed

One of Kent's best lines was during the free throw drought Sunday. We finally made one. Kent dryly tells Jake he should have done a bang-a-rang call on the make. -
2021 SG Hunter Sallis ->Gonzaga->Wake Forest
HB replied to AuroranHusker's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Sallis is not close to being a one and done type player. -
Prolly stating the obvious here omitting Green, but technically a premature announcement.
-
not a damn thing wrong with what he said

I wouldn’t call it spinning. It’s just reality. Way too many are in denial about how bad it was after 20 years of Perlman trying to run the athletic department, and several years of his minion Eichorst and his ridiculous choice of a head football coach. Also in denial of how hard it would be to get back to respectability.
-
I guarantee you the coaches are starting to worry. Could go either way at this point. Just part of the business. The “still trying” part of recruiting in year 4 isn’t a great look at $650k a year and taking over a strong program. Hopefully we’ll start to land better talent, but now’s the time. These coaches are great people and I’m pulling for them, but there are ominous signs.
-
Could be. But that can change quickly, especially with a couple of days off and then a long week of practice. If we can get by Michigan, I think we play NW tough. We darn near beat them on their floor, so we know we can play with them. NW could be rusty after a long layoff and the conference co-title celebration. Yeah, I could be reaching a bit, but what the heck.
-
I never argued for Bo Spencer. You brought him up. There are money other transfers listed in this thread, all of whom were dramatically more impactful than AW III. It has nothing to do with bygones. Petteway, Palmer, Copeland, Farmer, Jackman, Drevo, Robinson, all contributed more than White, without the negatives. So yeah, whatever on AWIII.
-
Well, whatever on AW III. Practiced for a year. Played inconsistently on a team that didn't make the postseason. Bolted for no logical reason too late for us to recruit his spot. Hardly "great for the Big Red."

Well, you're still eligible to play point guard then!
