Agree - I believe there's no guaranteed suspension for more games, but the B1G could hand down another game or two after a review of the situation by league officials. It's discretionary, depending on the situation. I wouldn't expect anything more, but who knows? New territory for us.
I believe that's what Coach was referring to on the post-game - that Walt missing 7/8th of today's game was probably enough punishment and that he didn't expect the B1G to do anything further. If it had happened with 30 seconds left in the game, then maybe another game would be handed down.
Suspension the next game if it's a fight. Not for a flagrant. So Walt can play against Michigan.
Washut is wrong. It was a flagrant, not a fight. So he can play against Michigan. Commissioner already informed Miles of that. Rivers is likely out 2 more games.
I thought the same thing.
Well, for both of them, a benching and working with the scout team got them going. Tai has a higher ceiling if he can keep it going. He was playing "cool". Today he led the team in floor burns.
Great segway back into the original topic.
Hey, how about that Tarin Smith. Just continues to impress, huh? Major, major, plus plus athleticism.
Actually he played poorly most of the game, but came through at the end. He's a bit of a gamer.
I heard he may be out for awhile with a possible broken collar bone. Tough loss for Iowa. Gesell played well down the stretch, but missed a game-tying jumper late.
That was earlier; I think in Kansas City. And that wasn't really about the steak, of course. A little bit going on behind the scenes, and the steak was a convenient excuse to go off on old Jose.
To this day I have no idea what Beau was thinking that night. Billy Cunningham finally declaring "Beau Reid is killing Nebraska right now" will linger in my memory forever. Rich King played is ass off that night. Moody was fine. Most everyone else struggled.
The publicity surrounding Tai winning the GATA award following the Minnesota game caused me to realize I had been mispronouncing it all this time. They all say it with a long "A". as in "Gait". I had been saying it like "Gadda". Quite the revelation. Was I the only one?
Not sure Dakich had enough evidence to go as hard on Woodbury as he did, but Fran is starting to just draw more attention to it. Fran may be 2nd only to Frank Martin in surly demeanor during a game. I get defending your player, but Fran's use of dramatic language may surpass what Dakich did. Next thing you know he'll say he's a man, he's 40.
Yes. After his promising start, he struggled to be productive. And I think he made some defensive errors; Miles was in his grill pretty good after a couple of made 3s by Minny.
