Yep, count me in on the boat that is concerned right now. I was one who thought it was just a bump in the road that ALL teams go through, but right now it's like we can't even find a road to drive on.
What really troubles me is the errors we have in key situations. The two out hitting in key situations. We need to right the ship, and we need to right it fast. As seen earlier in this season, we have the horses to compete. Something though is out of whack at the moment.
Actually we haven't hit well all season. It remains to be seen whether we have the horses to compete offensively. On weekend series we have had little clutch hitting all year, have had few crooked number innings. it looked early like the true freshmen: Schreiber, Dilday and Alvarado might really help, but the scouting reports must have identified some weaknesses. They still look like good players long term, but for now it's not happening.
