  1. With numbers of CV19 raising here in the Midwest I think a delay is very possible.
  2. I have not had a chance to read his story. Funny Sam did not give is a heads up to her release. Great that both are now available for this year.
  3. So with Cravens getting her release it should be a no brainer for Dillard right?
  4. Really there was a few (reporters, commentators) who questioned Brown's continued role in coming off the bench. Plus we mostly went with the starters coming out after halftime. I could see some issues with team chemistry. Maybe one of the reasons Brown left was she was not happy with her continued role off the bench? I hope this is sorted out. One thing Coach Cook stated during last night's Red/White match was how CV19 had created a real close bond for the girls with limiting contact outside of their bubble. Maybe the same is happening with the WBB girls as well?
  5. Cazzie - Just the state of the program at this point. Until we can be a consistent team (NCAA Tourney) year in and year out we are going to get little respect. It also does not help when reporters sometimes question the choices this staff makes.
  6. I think Michigan can be a real player to win the conference this year. NE really is an unknown entity at this point. Yes we have Cain, Haiby, and Bourne, but we have quite a few pieces we hope can jell together. Are we sure of a game with Creighton? I think that when Volleyball starts up in January they will be conference only. The leadership of the B1G is iffy at best and I don't think anyone in the B1G has a schedule released for this upcoming season at this point. We really need some pre-conference games or it could be a long season for us.
  7. I think both the NCAA and the B1G when it is within the conference.
  8. Well I am not surprised by Brown getting to play this year. Kind of figured that was coming. Did not see any news on Mershon. That said we should have already heard about Dillard, and Cravens. IMHO the NCAA should have changed the rule on 1st time transfers. But they are dragging their feet on this in the form of more review. Some schools work very hard in getting transfers even in conference approved.
  9. My brother and his wife both worked for the State in Lincoln. Brother at the Capitol and his wife in revenue. 37 and 40 years respectively. Enjoy the start of your new journey!
  10. So any word on transfers eligibility? Or Brown and Mershon?
  11. Per the NCAA both are allowed to start on Nov. 25th. Now the B1G may elect to do something else.
  12. A very good player. Too bad her body just could not hold up. It was my sport in school. I had to call it quits in high school as my back was not up to the task. Hopefully when we get a season that the rest of the injury prone players Williams players has will fair better than Taylor.
  13. If you are going to work there you can. I think you have to spend a couple of weeks in iso but there are several VB players playing overseas this fall. Good for her. Would also think the same goes for quite a few currently in the WNBA.
  14. So with the B1G now canceling fall sports in hope of moving them to the spring will winter sports be next on the chopping block. I really do not see where CV19 will be much better then than where we are right now. I think WBB, and MBB, etc. are in real danger of being shut down.
  15. It is clear McCabe does not feel NE is currently winning enough. Also sometimes you just do not click with a staff. Whichever it is Amy and her staff need to gets things turned around. I hope they can do it. Iowa has had some good luck lately. Hopefully it's time for that to change.
  16. I would not be surprised to see quite a few players get waivers to play right away.
  17. Really will need to see how she develops this coming year. Hopefully there will be a GBB season/club season.
  18. I think NE is 8 minutes per quarter. I think if you get to state you are close to 26-28 games total?
  19. I think all coaches miss on players from time to time. Even when they are in their own back yard. Connie missed some so Amy will be no different.
  20. So what are the odds that WBB, MBB do not start on time? I think they both start after January and have a shorter conference only season.
  21. I know there was one of them, maybe Yale that was to have all 2nd years students online for the fall, and then all 1st year students online for the second semester. Wanted to cut down to 40% for their student population. Crazy times.
  22. Sounds like the Ivy schools will cancel all fall sports. Nothing until after January 1st.
  23. Congrats! After 43 years you deserve to take time and smell the roses and have more time to cheer on the Huskers!
  24. It sucks for anyone/family to go thru these types of errors. I have known a few lawyers who you wanted to avoid because they just really did not pay attention to detail. I was the PR for my father when he passed and she did a pretty good job but she missed a couple of things. Luckily it did not come back to bite me but still it was little things she should have not missed.
  25. Well it is sometimes referred to as a "medical practice" so maybe that answers this question. My mother-in-law would tell me you still refer to them as a doctor even when they graduate last in their class and barely pass the boards. We most likely know a teacher, doctor, lawyer, etc. who should not be doing there job because they make mistakes way too often.
