Another benefit of a B1G bottom feeder is Prince only played a little over 25 minutes last night. With OSU coming on Sunday we will need her to be as fresh as possible.

I think you can tell Jensen is in over her head some as a HC. Watched a little bit of the end of the game and they had such a loose huddle in a time out and a few looked totally uninterested in what was going on. Would not be surprised if a few hit the portal at seasons end unless they had some type of turn around.

I noticed no visible brace on Allison's leg. Allison could have a small tear and with time could heal on it's own. Depending on how bad it is maybe 6-8 weeks to heal so maybe back by B1G tourney time? It would be nice for them to confirm exactly what happened to her knee. If she does just have a minor injury then by all means I would like to see her back if that is what she wants to do.

Jensen is finding life as a head coach more difficult than she may have thought. Great win tonight. I bet very few media folks covering B1G WBB would have thought Iowa 7 games in conference play would be 2-5.

McCabe just had her most action in a Iowa uniform their last game. 35+ minutes and 15 points. She was their best player in that game. Considering how much they talked up a few of their players, outside of Olsen who transferred in you can see how much Clark opened up the rest of their players. If we play like we can then we can come out with a win.

Let's make it 4 straight losses for Iowa.

So do we know what her exact injury is?

While I agree with not trying to play anyone heavy minutes (37-40) per game but we need someone to step up with the loss of Weidner but we may not have a lot of choice to play Britt more minutes. She played 36+ yesterday. Hoping Rimdal is the one to step up. If we can get her to do that then I feel like we could keep Britt's minutes more around the 30 per game. Without Weidner our best three ball handlers are Britt, Hake, and Rimdal. Great to see JP coming into her own (plus our staff knowing how best to use her). What we really need is our shooters (Hake and Nissley) to get our of their funk and start making those threes.

Make it three straight losses for Iowa. Indiana beat in Iowa. Their best player was McCabe who played 35+ and scored 15 points coming off the bench. I hope we can add to their misery on Thursday.

I think Allison should just call it a career.

Thankfully Britt was there for us in the 4th. Will need her to continue to be a goto for us.

Amy needs to learn how to ride the hot player. When they are cooking, leave them in. With Allison done for the year Britt who already probably leads us in minutes played will become that much more important for us to keep her on the floor. Welcome to 37-38 minute games.

It is so enjoyable to see Iowa struggle this year. They just lost to IL last night, 62-57. they are now 2-3 in the B1G.

This was a home win for us. I think we are pretty even with MSU. I would put this as a 50/50 game on a neutral court. I also think is this was in East Lancing it would have been a loss. Great to see us take care of home court.

Agree on Nissley getting the opposing teams attention. While Hake is much improved, she can be a streaky shooter from distance. What Hake does have is good speed so she can do somethings that Nissley does not. They are best outside shot other than Prince and we know she has figures in game plans.

I think Nissley is a better shooter than we have seem to this point. Wonder how much having surgery on both legs has effected her? I think I read or heard she did not get much court time til the fall.

I would say here, it is Football, MBB, and Volleyball close behind MBB. WBB would be after volleyball. It might not be close.

Right now there maybe more questions than answers. I am sure Amy feels she her players need to trust the process. Yes a win is a win. With this new look B1G we will see if she feels she needs to adjust her school of thought. I will not go into details as they have pretty much been spelled out. Great coaches adjust when they see what they have in place is not getting the job done. We also know what happens to those who can't find the answers and things go south. Let's hope that does not happen here.

Prince played 35+ yesterday. She does so many things well. The turnovers will come down. We need her to continue to step up. Hopefully they are telling her to call her own number more. She has a nice 15-18' shot. I little less three attempts and a little more mid range and going into the basket.

Wednesday's game will be tough. We need a start like we had against MN. If we come out and play up and down then it could be a bad loss at home.

Better start to the second half. Now we need to keep it going.

We have not made good choices today. We are playing like a bottom 3rd of the B1G right now.
