Seems like it could be more related to her family. Maybe an illness? From her Social Media it appears she was happy here.

I believe it did 12Dozen.

I know if you work or are around someone who is not happy then they can effect those around them. Sounds like Michigan with now four ladies from Indiana on their roster is a popular choice. Maybe that was one of her choices in high school but they showed no interest. She has moved on, and so has NE. Hopefully both can benefit, and learn from their choices. -

I think Stewart needs to have a consistent amount of time on the floor. Granted her D may not be where Williams wants but you need scorers and she seems to be able to do that quite well. Sometimes your team D is just not on and you better be able to outscore your opponent. -

While Brown may have not been happy coming off the bench and really what young player would when you most likely are the best player on the team. That said it was reported she approached KBA about playing at Michigan. After a internal discussion and Leigha stating she just wanted to help make the team better and has no desire to be the top point producer she was welcomed. By all external accounts it looks like to be a good fit. -
The game was in South Bend so maybe they are not so strict. Just looked at the box score and Leigha played the whole game. I did watch a little and sounded like her defense was spot on today. Outside of her assist/turnover (too many turnovers) ratio she has become quite the complete player.

With only the front court healthy through training camp sounds like a good bet. -
So no Dillard, and Cayton. Hopefully Scoggin stays healthy.
-
I agree Helms is a more natural point guard and Haiby would be a better two. Considering how we often started last year (slow offensively) maybe we need Porter in place of a defensive stopper. Would think she is a little more offensive minded? Brady, Dillard more for defense.
-
I would agree with Porter. Was thinking Cravens if she wanted to go big or maybe another guard for for defense? Dillard maybe?

I do not have BTN+ but have BTN with my Dish service. Besides the main channel they have 5+ more they can use. Why not use them and have more games on TV?

When I went to Michigan's WBB to review Brown's number from the first game it stated; Note: No public access at events due to Big Ten policy currently in effect
-
So best guess for a starting 5? Cain, Bourne, and Haiby are a given barring injury. I really do not see Williams as the type of coach to change the lineup based on the opponents starting five when you maybe one one of two spots unsettled.
-
Nebraska never really tried to run any set plays for Mershon. Sometimes the coaches vision that convinces you to go to a school does not always evolve into a reality.
-
The policy is no fans/family in the stands. This is B1G's current status for BB.

I wonder how long the masks will stay on?

Per Michigan's twitter, Brown is starting for today's game with Central Michigan. -
Porter has spent time with a couple of Aussie National teams. That type of experience is great to have. Much like Bourne, I expect she will be a contributor early on.
-
So I did not see or maybe missed about fans in attendance? Anyone know at this point?
-
I think the one thing that is a little eye opening is the fact it seems like very little time was committed to building leadership skills. Reading Bourne's comments about last year. Williams talk about "it's new for us". Williams has quite a few tools she can use here and it sounds like they really did not give it much thought til things got shutdown by CV19. I would say that is part of the reason why we have seen the results on the court. Maybe this is how this staff and program turn the corner and take the next step in the B1G and NCAA.
-
Great to see Williams talk with John Cook.
-
With numbers of CV19 raising here in the Midwest I think a delay is very possible.
-
I have not had a chance to read his story. Funny Sam did not give is a heads up to her release. Great that both are now available for this year.
-
So with Cravens getting her release it should be a no brainer for Dillard right?

AP women's preseason poll released...

Really there was a few (reporters, commentators) who questioned Brown's continued role in coming off the bench. Plus we mostly went with the starters coming out after halftime. I could see some issues with team chemistry. Maybe one of the reasons Brown left was she was not happy with her continued role off the bench? I hope this is sorted out. One thing Coach Cook stated during last night's Red/White match was how CV19 had created a real close bond for the girls with limiting contact outside of their bubble. Maybe the same is happening with the WBB girls as well?
