Yeah Amy and Leigha did not exactly see eye to eye. She does however seem to do very well with Barnes Arico. No matter how you regard her she has done very well at Michigan. I can think of a few NE football players who may have not been well liked but sure did bring it when the light came on.

Was wondering the same thing. Would think they came in today. Might not get able to get back after the game.

Nice game from Maggie today. Will add much needed depth going forward. Jaz with a off game today. She will be back. Great to see Alexis and Allison both have good games. Sam looked much better today. Still needs to just let the game come to her. On to Kansas.

Amy's last contract update has her north of 600K/year so she could most likely pay out of pocket for the reduced rate as a child of an employee.

So I know Amy's salary is pretty nice would think if needed they could pay the balance. Also if she has a softball scholarship and she plays both would it not count against softball? Much like Maggie with volleyball and basketball.

I did not know til I watched the NPM broadcast on Sunday but Samford's head coach Carley Kuhns had about 50 family/friends at the game.

Not sure who listened to the NPM broadcast but Larry stated her injury is more minor. Sounds like we could have her back soon?

Since it is in a sling, I would think it is a shoulder. I hate it when they say day to day. We know Brady was listed as day to day last year or two and was out for the season. Cazzie is right we will need her for Kansas.

So how soon does Mendelson see the court now that VB is done? Would be nice to have her for the Wyoming game.

15 scholarships for WBB. Injuries happen. Hopefully Bourne will be back quickly. If Brady is in concussion protocol then she could be out for a while with her history. Nice to see players step up last night.

Agree Coley is suited for the three. She has a nice shot but I think her confidence in that shot is missing. Plus she can be a little feisty on defense. She just needs more time on the court. Sadly not sure she is going to see more than what she gets now. Then mostly as a 4.

I think we all know the women's game is becoming more physical. Bella's hair may have had a few tangles in it and she caught the tangles. The gloves came off. Some players push the limits, and some players tend to have a short fuse.

Looks like Bella will have options after her covid year.

I think we are just starting to see having Maddie on the court pay dividends. She may not always show up in the stat line but her time at SD is proving to be a real asset for us. With Sam unable to play or maybe limited having her leadership is a big plus. I also agree with having Maddie in the starting line up. Jaz, Issie, and Maddie all had 30+ minutes yesterday.

Great day for Husker Basketball!

We got great guard play today. For us to have success it has to start with them. I think having Krull put in major minutes also is a big part of the “W”.

Michigan looked pretty good last night. Brown spending time at the point. Indiana also does not appear to be missing a step without Berger at this point.

HUD - We do have seniors, Jaz and Issie are really seniors. Not sure why they are listed as Juniors. Yes both played during the covid year and can take an extra year as Sam has done if they choose to. Sam was listed as a junior last year as well.

At this point we will end up with 12-14 losses if we do not get our guard play turned around. We can talk about missing players from last year but we have enough talent to be better than what we have seen so far. Last year we had good guard play which led to a very good year. Maybe a change in the starters so we get off to a quicker start but Amy gets pretty set so outside of an injury do not see it changing. Do not think Maggie will add much once she comes over from volleyball. Amy will bring her along slowly as she will need to catch up to what we do. Only practice time can help that. Agree we needed a 4-5 from the transfer portal. Not too late to right the ship but it needs to start now. I will be OK with a loss to Maryland if we are doing the right things on the court. If we get another 20+ point loss it could be a long year.

I have it as part of my dish package. Thanks to 12dozen for the early game post. I would have not tuned in as I would have looked at the twitter account which has ESPN+ only for video.
