In Ventura's defense tonight... Eaton did say something before Ventura did. Something happened in between the inning though. Moose getting hit in the face didn't help. I agree though Ventura is very emotionally immature right now.
Royals- Lead majors in getting hit (17)
Royals- Lead majors in ejections (9)
Not surprised by the ejections. I would imagine it is hard for the Royals to not take it personal when after 19 games have been played that you have 19 hit by pitch (causing broken bones) & base runners trying to take out players knees. Opponents know that they can take the first swing/plunk & get a warning. Royals try to retaliate & get the ejection. Opponents can't handle the fact that the little old Royals are beating them with great pitching & speed.
Sure is a good thing for the board that we have someone with so much power to straighten out a "newscaster" for his publicly made comments that no one else seems to know about.
My only complaint is the moping after he messes up that leads to not hustling back on defense & leads to easy bucket for the other team. Doesn't mean that I don't think he is a great player. Great players do this as well & drives me nuts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Georgetown a better school than any others being considered from an academic standpoint? Maybe his decision was influenced on post graduation.
Fuller to me didn't look tentative last game, which resulted in decent defense. If his defense stays like last game, I would imagine minutes will increase.
Is it just me or does it seem like every game Karl Hess refs one of the teams gets out to huge lead and then they come storming back in the 2nd half, most of the time falling short in their comeback efforts.
Nice idea, but wouldn't the $20 straight to Relief funds do more good than giving a majority to this company? What does it cost them to make a t-shirt, $2-$3?
