  1. I know Yvan is a raw 17 yo freshman, but 3/10 is pretty frustrating. Make just ONE of those and we probably win.
  2. AND WE DON'T EVEN GET RUNZAS!!!!!!!
  3. I look forward to the day where I take 5 hours out of a weekend day to come watch us donkey stomp teams like North FREAKING Dakota by 40. Today ain't that day.
  4. The missed over-the-back call was a killer.
  5. Yvan should have 20 points right now...
  6. I think Thor should start the rest of the season. I like Thor in the corner, running the baseline. Green doesn't do that as well as Thor. Mack, Burke, and Green at the 1/2. Cheatham, Thor, and Kavas at the 3/4. Yvan and Cross at the 5. Solid 8-man rotation with Easley and Arop as emergency players.
  7. "Unfortunately, it is now clear that my journey will take me somewhere else." To me, this is an implication that the coaching staff has encouraged him to look elsewhere. Thoughts?
  8. Without an improvement in skills or a change in attitude, he likely wasn't going to see the floor much next year, either. No one who is currently in front of him is (expected to be) leaving the team.
  9. My buddy and I first noticed it at the end of the Doane game. Curtis was playing with the walk-ons, but was moping around, acting like he was too good to playing garbage time. After a time-out, Cross came back into the game for Curtis to play the last couple minutes.
  10. I had a feeling this would happen. Especially after what I saw during the Southern Utah game.
  11. I'd like to see what this can do if/when they start making shots. Played tough last night, but defensive intensity seemed to dwindle as the offensive struggles continued. Onward on upward.
  12. A Jackwagon Thanksgiving!
  13. Shortly before halftime. Just heard "Stop the presses!" after Yvan gave us the lead early in the 2nd half (after an offensive rebound put-back).
  14. "Offensive rebound and put back is good. Record that. I want to use that" - Kent Pavelka
  15. Sounds like Waiver was denied. Two years of eligibility starting next season.
  16. To be fair, they're not wrong about three of those things...
  17. I've decided to save $30 this week. Just don't trust a sports streaming service I've never heard of.
  18. It's also what can make message boards a pain!
  19. I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm not saying you're wrong. We are all fans on here, but that doesn't mean we have to have the same thoughts/feelings on every situation.
  20. When Yvan is your age, do you think he will regret his decision to play for his country? Or will he look back fondly on that decision? Personally, I don't think it really matters in the grand scheme of things. I understand your point, but look at it from the perspective of a 17 year-old kid getting ready to move to America for at least four years. Playing for France may have been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
  21. Perhaps since he played 4 games at Pitt as a sophomore, the NCAA is waiting until after our fourth game to grant him eligibility as a sophomore. An argument could be made that he has then sat out one year (redshirt year) and will not have lost any eligibility. No idea if there is an evidence of the NCAA doing this in the past - purely speculation.
  22. Anybody else notice Samari Curtis sitting on the bench during halftime warm-ups? He did not play in the second half. Guessing he lipped off in the locker room during half time? I also noticed his "why-am-I-still-playing-I'm-a-high-profile-recruit" body language at the end of the Doane game. Had to be replaced by Cross for the last couple minutes. My gut tells me he will not be on the team next year. Heck, could even be gone after this semester.
