I endorse the second half of your proposal completely.

I’ll Call Your Moos & Raise You A Boehm
Norm Peterson replied to hhcdave's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
For all I know, Dave, he’s doing exactly the job that every athletic director he’s worked for has asked him to do. If his job is to guard the elevator door at north stadium and they’re willing to pay him six figures to do it, it’s no skin off my back. I know for sure it’s not his job to coach the basketball team. -
But Craig Smith was a muffin' offensive GENIUS while he was here and left us high and dry when he took the SDSU job.

He's not any good?

I’ll Call Your Moos & Raise You A Boehm
Norm Peterson replied to hhcdave's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Yeah, let's blame it all on Boehm, who has absolutely zero responsibility for recruiting, player development, opponent scouting, game-planning, in-game coaching, athletic training, strength training, video coordinating, scheduling, hiring assistants or any other aspect of actually fielding a team. It'll make me feel so much better when we fire 8 people instead of just 7 when Moos finally announces the decision he's already made. And, while Shim-Sham halftime shows and lack of Nebrasketball apparel options have no impact on wins and losses whatsoever, people need to lose their jobs over the fact that Nebraska has never won an NCAA tourney game, and the more people who get fired for it, the better. Boehm, you're a dead man walking. Even though nobody who's espoused an opinion about your job status has any idea what's in your job description, our righteous indignation at the program's lack of success will not be salved unless you're forced into early retirement. Got it? -
Bill Parcels coached in the NFL where every team gets a first-round draft pick. Let's see ol' Bill take over at KU and see what he thinks he is.

I preferred Devaney to be quite honest. I still go to the games; I'm not boycotting the place. But PBA is NOT why I go to the games.

I would welcome your break-down of why in 7 years we have only made 1 tournament.

Nebraska (18-15) vs. Wisconsin (22-9) Game Thread
Norm Peterson replied to Bugeaters1's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
It's probably too much to hope for, but a win against Wiscy tomorrow might very well get us to the right side of the bubble. Prior to the Maryland game, we were sitting at #52 in the NET. Maryland was #26. NET hasn't updated yet, but that would give us two more Quad 1 wins (Md and Wiscy) and probably bumps us into the low 40s. Follow that with a win on Saturday and we'd almost have to be in. But this is all very hypothetical at this point. Long odds still stand in our way. Go Huskers. Nothing to lose at this point. Let it all hang out. -
Whoever writes the script, they need to include this part in the movie. The team's own administration was so focussed on lining up a new coach, they forgot to send out notices to fans to possibly buy tickets for the NIT.
-
Ideally, we beat Wisconsin and tOSU beats MSU and we sprint past tOSU into the tourney final. I want to make the dance; I don't want to give Barry Collier another chance to screw us in the NIT.

Now they're scrambling trying to find any film they can on Johnny B. Trueblood. -

Nick Bahe needs to learn how to use a semicolon. -
You aren't the only person I've heard this from. The other ... knows stuff.
