300+. Looked it up myself. We only held the “worst loss” title for a few days.

Just so we’re all on the same page, this was the first ever D1 win for them in their transition year. They were 300+ in KenPom.

Me after the game on Tuesday: “That’ll probably be the worst loss KenPom wise in our conference. Northwestern: “Hold my beer.”

Roby is currently 1 TO shy of a triple double. Certainly had his ups and downs but you can see how good he can be!

Looking through their schedule, it looks like the closest trips for Husker fans to see these two would probably be.... Nov 16th-Des Moines, IA NOV 27th- Sioux Falls, SD Dec 8th- OKC, OK Dec 17th- Sioux Falls, SD Jan 23rd- OKC, OK Mar 21st- Des Moines, IA Plus all home games are in Frisco, TX

Roby was a rare sight for the Mavs in the pre-season games, and was a DNP in his one game that he suited up in the real deal. I think the decision falls squarely on playing time. The Mavs invested for the future of what Roby could be. But he needs time to develop. While it's not apples to apples, think of it as a MLB team investing a ton in a 1st round pick, but playing that guy in A and AA ball for a year or two.

I was not, but the name sounds really familiar. Chad Eshbaugh was actually the coach of the men when I was there. I believe he is now an assistant at Jacksonville U.

Also interesting to point out that it isn't just that guys need to learn to gel together as a new team, but for 7/11 of the guys who played last night, this was their first EVER D1 action. Edited to say that it was the first outside of our WSU scrimmage.

I'm feeling a little better today. I hope that game leaves a sour taste in our guys mouths. One nice thing that last night should show our guys is that nobody is going to lay over and die. Not one team will be a for sure win. We need to come out and play 40 full minutes each and every night.

SUU put up 110 in a 40+ point win last night. They played Bethesda FWIW.

In terms of KenPom, I wonder how this ranks with our UMBC, Incarnet Word, etc losses that we’ve had in the past.

Rough night for the B1G with us losing a buy game and MSU and Wisco both losing our two marquee matchups.

Yeesh— our first 10 minutes almost out scored our last 30. This is why I still think we might have something. Just have to find a way to get that 19 on all four lines.

I still think this team *COULD* make the post season. No I haven’t been drinking and yes I watched the game... I just think we’ll improve that much and Fred will get the O turned around.

How great would a “Big Red Overreaction” show have been tonight?

I could take the “wait till January” approach if it was after GTech or Creighton. I’d try to be reasonable if we lost to those two.. hell even to Wash St in our first game away from home. This was UC Riverside. This was doom and gloom. I expect things to get better. But there’s no sugar coating this loss for me personally. This was a major clunker.

The loss was so bad that my ESPN app didn’t even put it in there. Also... we claimed our spot at the bottom of the standings earlier than I thought we would.

Hoiberg just said we got a “heck of a team” coming in Saturday. God we can’t start 0-2 right?
