For me personally, it has me questioning what our thinking was now. I was under the impression that the waiver was to get him another year of eligibility and he would still have two years after this. If he was denied a waiver, then he would have 2.5 years because he was available in December. However, if it is two years regardless, that changes things for me. We submitted the waiver way later. Can you even deny a waiver if you sit out too long? For instances, can you deny if they come back in the middle of January and say "you can play." If it was always going to be either two years this year or two years next year, I think the waiver should have been submitted way earlier. The hiccup for me is coming in the fact that I thought he would have 2 years after this regardless.
