  1. Big time toe stub in these last 2. Got a lot of work and soul searching after the first 5.
  2. For the power conferences especially. How can you not full time employee like 10 3 man crews? That gives them each maybe 2 games a week, plenty of time off to stay fresh and learn, etc.
  3. With Berke Huskers 74 Maryland 71 5 Without Berke Huskers 64 Maryland 74 4
  4. One thing I’ll never understand is how entities like the NFL, NCAA, etc. can’t employ full time officials. Seriously, pay for their travel, food, etc, and pay them enough so that they can focus on learning and getting better in the off season. You might be onto something doing “too many” games. I remember in mid-December, I saw a guy was on his first off day since the beginning of the year in early November.
  5. During the 6 game skid… Bryce averaged 4 rebound per game. During our 4 game streak? 6.75 rebounds per game. That’s with just 2 boards at Washington. Bryce is All-Big 10 level when he contributes at more than just the scoring level. Also… we win when Bryce contributes in other areas.
  6. The bad news is we do not have any off time coming up. We have a game every 4-5 days or so the rest of the way. So he misses 2 weeks? That’s 4 games.
  7. Man— 3 weeks ago, I was so down on these guys. Major major kudos to the boys for pulling it out.
  8. Chicken Dinner. Game streak following the six game skids nice!
  9. Hope that’s not a lingering injury for Berke.
  10. Bryce is going to have to try and shut down Thornton. He's a bruiser and would be a bad matchup for Sam. We'll see what we try.
  11. I think their concern was gym space and they still wanted top 4 seeds to get a double bye.
  12. Also... one of those teams on the "cut line" at the moment is...... Oregon. At just 5-8, they sit in 13th are are just .5 games above the cut line. Has a team with like 8 Q1 wins ever missed their conference tournament and made the dance? LOL Their remaining schedule though is fairly easy. NW, Rutgers, @Iowa, @Wisco, USC, Indiana, @Washington
  13. Because of how tight the standings are, there will be a team with some big time wins that doesn't make the B1G tournament (most likely). You can probably pencil in Minnesota and Washington to the bottom 2. BUT that 16th spot is well up for grabs. Penn State and Northwestern seem like good options there with how their seasons are going, but all it takes is someone 5-7 or worse going on one of those 6 game skids and......
  14. Ho/Hum, another Q1 opportunity!
  15. I don't follow women's bracketology as much as I do the men... but if it works relatively the same, the women are in a completely different boat than the men. The women have virtually no quality wins on their resume to date. Especially with the way the Quads are set up for the women's game. We do have a couple Q1 wins (Iowa and MSU). Iowa does fall into the Q1A category. We're also 1-1 in Q2 with our win over Minnesota. But the majority of our work has really come in Q4 where we are 10-0. We are also 3-0 in Q3. So while we are, I believe, pretty safe for the moment, our resume doesn't have a lot of bulk to continue losing good (Q1 & Q2) opportunities or take a hit with a Q3/Q4 loss or two. Skating on thin ice for a bit here.
  16. I realize there will be some with JUST Bluesky, but that number is very small. What I was more saying is that you can still cover the majority of your fanbase with the main three if someone wanted to stick to those. There isn't a "need" to create a Bluesky at this point if you didn't want to. It's just another account to remember to update, add content to, etc.
  17. Due to changes this year, we all know that 3 teams will not be making the conference tournament... let alone any other tournaments. Sadly, we are still one of those teams on the cut line heading into mid-February here. Currently we're in a 5 way tie for 9th (so 9-13)... it would be nice to separate from these teams. Nebraska vs Ohio State- need a Husker win obviously. Oregon @ MSU- Oregon lost and drops .5 games back of us. Michigan @ Indiana- Need a MU win, they are up 9 with 13 mins left. Rutgers @ Maryland- Need a Maryland win to stay ahead of Rutgers USC is off until Tuesday. Iowa is also right below us in the standings and is playing at home against Wisco today. Would be nice for Wisco to take care of the Hawks.
  18. They've completely fell apart here in the 2nd vs MSU.
  19. I wouldn't be too worried about Bluesky. It's basically Twitter light and there isn't enough users IMO to warrant another account creation unless they absolutely want to. Twitter, Facebook, Insta I would say are the big three someone should have.
  20. It had us with 9 Q1 wins, so I’m wondering if someone dropped out on the simulation. Idk who that would be. It would have us beating OSU twice… So that could drop them under 30 NET and our home win would become a Q2.
  21. Heck of a start and that allows Bahl to be good to go for today and tomorrow.
  22. Ran a sim on T-Rank and winning out the regular season put us around the 7 seed line. I think a little higher than that, but there’s some strong resumes we’d have to pass to get up to the 5 seed line or lower.
  23. With USC's loss tonight-- we're now in a 5 way tie for 9th.
