Fred did… what many of us thought…. Knew…. He could. This team was an absolute blast to watch! Loved them. They will go down as one of the most fun to watch and not JUST because of the W number they put up. I hate when other teams talk about “pain” and losing in March. We deserve one win. More than that though… the TEAM and Fred and Shamus and Kent and everyone involved deserve one too. I was NCAA or bust going into this year and they did just that. I’m fine with the Fred extension. Happy that he’s willing to stay here and try and build something. The continuity will be nice and something this program hasn’t had in a while. Waking up today didn’t take the sting out of yesterday. The tears… for winning at least… wait at least one more year. It’s going to happen. I can feel it. We’re going to go into next year the hunted and not the hunter. How do we respond?

Going to make it hard to enjoy the rest of March madness

Not a single person played solid D tonight. It wasn’t just Keisei who was blown by. It’s not super difficult to replace 14 points a game, but what is difficult to replace is how those 14 points came to be. He was electric. He could flip a switch at any point. I absolutely do not feel good about not having KT next year. We can makeup 14 points in the aggregate, but it’ll be hard to makeup what we’re losing with Keisei.

If we can cut down our time between trips it’ll happen. But man. Idk. Just so defeated tonight. If we don’t cut down our time between trips I may have 3-4 more chances but I know some don’t have that.

We can’t take 2 steps back next year. We need sustained success. We can’t go another 10 years before we’re dancing again.

But we didn’t come out flat. 31-30 Huskers at one point. We just chose the two most important games not to play D. And A&M of course had the game of their year.

We just dig ourselves too big of a hole.

Playing like we’re scared to foul is probably a product of how that 2nd half vs Illinois was called.

I say pack it in and make them shoot it. If they hit, they hit. On O, we need to draw some early fouls and put them in trouble early.

If SDSU doesn’t pull this one out against UAB for the MW….

We can spend 1000’s of minutes to review an OOB call in a 10 point game but can’t spend a second to review a clear and obvious officiating error. The fall made it look so bad and it was most likely an anticipation whistle.

Clemson is curb stomping UNM and the MW looks awful. Not surprising to me though I know so many people were shocked at how the committee treated them.

Texas A&M player said that we remind him of Alabama's offensive team. That Alabama team beat A&M 100-75.

2 games into March Madness and Nebraska is about to be 2-0 against the Round of 32 field.

MSU now up 15. They look pretty good themselves. Would love to have the B1G have a nice showing. Always seem to be a butt of jokes that we don't perform in March.
