  1. I assume he would redshirt next season?
  2. Oh, I have no idea. All I really know is what I hear guys like Washut say on the radio and/or Twitter. I know he was an ESPN top100 recruit coming out of high school and that his younger brother is a 5-star shooting guard that is ranked the #9 overall prospect in the 2023 class, so it would be a potentially huge get for Nebraska, if they were to land him. I will say though that after watching a bunch of his videos from high school, I am a little nervous about how his demeanor and style of play could have potential negative side effects on the chemistry of the current roster, both on the floor and in the locker room, especially in the wake of how the Teddy Allen experiment turned out... but I don't think Nebraska is in a position where they can afford to pass up an opportunity of landing a player as talented as Wilcher (that also happens to have a younger brother that is a 5-Star SG), but there are some things about him that make me nervous.
  3. Washut has said that separately from all of the reports of Nebraska reaching out to seemingly every transfer, CJ Wilcher and Tyson Walker are the 2 players at the top of Nebraska’s list right now. And, in an interview earlier today while talking about Walker and Wilcher, Washut also said about CJ Wilcher: “He’s at the top of Nebraska’s list and there is real smoke there in terms of interest from Wilcher.” Those seem to be the transfers where there is more than just a phone call from Nebraska to gauge interest.
  4. Ohio State reaches out to police after E.J. Liddell received threatening tweets following NCAA tournament loss https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/31097748/ohio-state-ej-liddell-responds-disgruntled-fans-ncaa-tournament-loss?platform=amp
  5. Watching Russell’s video, I feel like he would be a great fit in Hoiberg’s offense.
  6. Junior Season Highlights http://www.hudl.com/v/2FDLVz
  7. I think he is more of a Summit League caliber player than a Big Ten caliber player
  8. Is there any reporting that Nebraska has an actual shot with him?
  9. I guess I think Brockington fits Hoiberg's system much better than Stevenson, because Brockington is an actual shooting guard that is much more athletic, much better ball handler, and a better shooter.
  10. Bring Izaiah Brockington and Jamari Wheeler to Nebraska
  11. Lakes or Stevenson?
  12. I wonder if this is an indication that Kobe is coming back for another season.
  13. I would be shocked if Michigan and Illinois don’t both get #1 seeds
  14. I think a few of the biggest factors to the lack of wins this season were: 1) Roster composed almost entirely of players that had no game experience playing together coming into the season 2) Big Ten clearly the strongest conference in college basketball, to the level of being historically strong, which makes it difficult for a team that hasn't learned how to play together yet, and this was exacerbated by the fact that the nonconference was cut short, so they were almost immediately thrown into the fire of the Big Ten gauntlet 3) Derrick Walker being suspended for the first half of the season was a huge impact. This team looked much much better once he got back into the lineup and even more so once his game conditioning caught up with the rest of the team.
