  1. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound point guard out from Sacramento (Calif.) would have been a senior in high school this past season had he not decided to make a jump and reclassify to the 2020 Class. However, because of the NCAA Eligibility Relief due to Covid-19, Askew still has four years of eligibility remaining in the college ranks. Prior to Askew’s reclassification he was considered as the No. 1 overall point guard prospect in the 2021 class and a five-star prospect. Exiting high school as a 2020 recruit, Askew ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect in the 247Sports 2020 Composite Rankings.
  2. That would be HUGE. He was rated as a 5-star by ESPN and the #26 overall player in the 2020 class, so adding him, in addition to Bryce McGowens would be adding 2 5-stars to Nebraska's roster, plus 2 4-stars in Wilhelm and Wilcher. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/235628/devin-askew
  3. Creighton players that, at this point, are assumed to be leaving: -Marcus Zegarowski -Damien Jefferson -Mitch Ballock -Denzel Mahoney -Christian Bishop -Alex O’Connell Rumblings that one or both of the following may also enter the transfer portal: -Antwann Jones -Shereef Mitchell
  4. I agree. I would really like for Nebraska to land him. I think we can definitely use another one of the open scholarships on a 4-star shooting guard that is also a great defender. Perfect fit for this system.
  5. Hopefully Bryce can work some recruiting magic for Nebraska
  6. Looks like Bryce McGowens and TyTy Washington will be teammates in the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic...
  7. Robin Washut talking with Gary Sharp about the possibility of Nebraska potentially landing Simeon Wilcher now that they just landed his brother: “I know for a fact that the possibility of those two playing together in college is very enticing to the two of them.” “Simeon, when talking about a season that they were able to play together on the same team in high school, said that was the best time he had playing basketball in his life”
  8. I’m sure Nebraska doesn’t have any chance with Rocket Watts, but I think he would be a great fit in Hoiberg’s system and I would love to see him playing for the Huskers.
  9. Bring him to Lincoln.
  10. SMH. Well I (and I assume you as well) am a fan a team that gets referenced in a tweet like the following every time some obscure team gets their 1st NCAA Tournament win, so yeah I would love to be winning conference championships and making it to conference championships and I would love to make it to the Sweet16 any way it happened, so I can stop having embarrassing stuff like this said/tweeted every season about the basketball team I’m a fan of and the university I graduated from.
  11. Yeah, winning enough games in the regular season to get the 2-seed in the conference tournament, then making it to the conference championship game, then making it to the Sweet16 is pretty inadequate compared to the level of success that Nebrasketball generally achieves. WTF If you can remember witnessing Nebraska basketball accomplishing even one of those things (let alone all 3 in 1 season), then you are older than I am. I hate Creighton as much as anyone, but I can still be objective and admit that their consistent level of success is exponentially less inadequate than Nebraska’s.
  12. Kenny Pohto Season highlights - April 2020 https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13666883/5e39aa0c4ba7a915a45fd558
  13. “Don’t let Pohto’s bulk fool you. I was pleasantly surprised when I turned on his hudl highlights to find an athletic kid whose strength is clearly on the offensive side of the floor. He can shoot it from anywhere and looks like someone who loves to shoot the deep ball. Most of his offensive highlights are actually from beyond the arc.” “That doesn’t mean Kenny isn’t interested in banging down low, when called upon. A good chunk of his other offensive highlights show Pohto crashing the boards for athletic put-backs and he seems really developed in the pick and roll/pop game.” https://www.minnesotasportsfan.com/what-new-3-star-21-commit-kenny-pohto-can-bring-to-pitinos-gophers/amp/
  14. “The 15 best players in transfer portal right now (and 5 uncommitted HS players to track too)“ https://kentuckysportsradio.com/basketball-2/the-15-best-players-in-college-basketballs-transfer-portal-right-now/
