  1. Huskers Off to a good start! However, audio link at Huskers.com is not loading Pity, ESPNU announcers are awful!
  2. Coach Miles Halftime tweet: Tim Miles @CoachMiles · 26m 26 minutes ago I thought they dominated the game and we played soft, but games are not won and lost in the first half.
  3. Way to Go Huskers! been off-line for awhile, either that or HHC servers were down)
  4. So Good to see Benny shooting well. a couple of treys & drives. (sorry thot he got a couple of treys - sleepy)
  5. Maybe it's just me, but it seems the B1G does not look quite as formidable this year as it did last year. Don't get me wrong, it is still a Tough Conference, by any standard; but my point is that as we get into the crux of the schedule, it may not be quite the disaster for Nebraska that some pundits have been predicting.
  6. Will there be much residual impact on Hawai'i dismissing both their HC, Gib Arnold and Asst HC, Brandyn Akana in Oct; or Isaac Fotu leaving the team to turn Pro?
  7. Mon 12/22 (#84) Huskers vs (#205) Hawai'i, ESPNU @ 12:00 am cst (Monday Night @ Midnight, CST) Set your DVR's! It should be a good game; despite Hawai'i recently dismissing Head Coach Gib Arnold and Asst HC, Brandyn Akana. One of Hawai'i's key players, Isacc Fotu, from New Zealand also recently left the team to go pro. Fotu is a former teammate of Tai Webster, both playing for New Zealand's National Basketball Team, the 'Tall Blacks,' in the World Cup this past summer. GBR!
  8. Tough, Tough, Team. If those in a slump start playing the way they can, continuing improvement from Tai, and return of some 'bigs,' we're an NCAA-worthy team!
  9. Maybe it takes a little time to hone that edge (from the beginning of each season). I recall everyone seemed happy with the way he practiced, pre-season.
  10. We did seem to have trouble finishing at the basket! (it does seem to even out: They make their FTs, they win handily! We finish at the basket, we win handily!)
  11. Pitchford played for 48 (out of 50) minutes, the most of anyone on the team, followed by Rivers (47), Shields (46) & Parker (44). Conversely, Troy Caupin had the most playing time for Cincinatti (45 mins). Cincinatti used 10 players during the game vs only 7 for Nebraska; the next highest players for Cincinatti were Ellis, at 33 mins and Clark, at 32.
  12. If your dvr stopped recording because of the time limit scheduled for the game, you may be able to just press record again to get the tail end of the game (dvr may have stopped recording, but the tuner should not have changed channels & may still be recording in the background).
  13. Coach Miles Halftime Tweet: Tim Miles @CoachMiles · 7s 7 seconds ago I thought we did a lot of good things defensively, but we have to not turn the ball over. That is tough to do since that is their M.O.
  14. Seems like we can't finish well at the basket
  15. Coach Miles Halftime Tweet: Tim Miles @CoachMiles · 26s 26 seconds ago We are playing way too tentative. We have to be aggressive out there. The aggressor always wins.
  16. Bump (This for you a0t0w0)
  17. Seems like not being patient on offense & trying to force shots. Wonder what Miles will say in Post-Game?
  18. Coach Miles' Halftime Tweet: \\ Tim Miles @CoachMiles · 19s 19 seconds ago When we went on the lull in scoring, we lost our defensive intensity, and they took advantage. We have to win this game with defense.
