  1. Thanks Nets. I'm sure that I'm no judge of one's coaching knowledge or skill. I wouldn't know 'Good' Coaching even if I saw it. But, I can see the Results of Coaching on the court. Just look at what Fred Hoiberg and his new assistant coaches have been able to do with the team this year, compared to prior seasons; with supposedly 'lesser' talent, even after the number of injuries. Listen to his press conferences, and him talking about developing his players and coaching them up.
  2. Here is a video recap of every one of Keisei's FGs since his breakout vs Penn State in February - All 43 of 'em for your viewing pleasure. (I got tired and may have miscounted ) (Sorry but the Tweet video won't embed, but you can click on the date (in blue) and the video should come up)
  3. And didn't Sam Hoiberg also make that amazing play stealing Wiscy's pass to their player under the basket in Overtime to again help seal the Win.
  4. Sorry Cazzie, no criticism intended; my thought is just another take on it.
  5. NO, NO! I'm afraid that Keisei Has This All WRONG; We should be the Ones Thanking HIM!!!
  6. ONE MORE YEAR
  7. I saw this elsewhere by some sharp=eyed fan! Sam Hoiberg with the play of the game. And Tominaga becomes the first Husker since Lue with five straight 20-point games. Winner!
  8. Huskers WIN! in Overtime: 70-66!!! There B1G Refs - Take THAT
  9. I don't know whether to say WHEW (the Referees did everything they could to make Maryland Win) There Refs - Take THAT or Ho-Hum, Huskers Win (again): 70-66 (writhing around on the floor grasping at my heart)
  10. Very Questionable Officiating This Half!
  11. Six Point Game! Anybody's game yet. Maryland's 3-pointers are killing us. We need to get Hot!
  12. Jake disagrees. (I woudn't know, I'm blind )
  13. Refs don't seem to recognize over-the-back (edit:/shove) fouls. From letting them play in the first Half, refs seem insistent on taking over the game in the second.
  14. Need to keep composure! (refs not helping)
  15. It's HALFTIME and Kent is getting EXCITED!!!! HUSKERS up by Seven: 31-24 on run to end the HALF!
  16. CJ is coming into his own!
  17. We're getting sped-up, need to keep composure. Maryland's l7-0 run has cut into our lead: 15-13 @ 7:57
  18. By not being very successful, do you mean Duds like Jaz Shelley, Maddie Krull, Bella Cravens, Mi'Cole Cayton & Ashley Scoggin. But I hear what you're saying; players we haven't seen much of, like Nailah Dillard & Kristian Hudson. Your point being we have a couple of open scholarships that we might have benefited from filling via the portal.
  19. (Game Recap) Here's the 'Good' News Huskers Shatter Attendance Record (Here's the 'Bad' News (other than we Lost) - A lot of 'em were from Iowa) https://huskers.com/news/2023/2/18/womens-basketball-huskers-vs-iowa.aspx Same 'Ole Story (this season). Treys kept us in the game in the first half, but falling progressively behind in the Second when they quit falling (Nebraksa's 9-0 run (3-treys) at the end were vs Iowa's scrubs), with Iowa running downhill, seemingly 'scoring at will' in the paint, in transition, well executed plays, Clarke Taunting. This is not to denigrate the ALL GRIT, NO QUIT, Huskers who continued to play to the Final Buzzer. I saw some criticism of Coach Amy leaving starters like Jaz in the game after it was clear we'd lost, but thinking about it that'd be quitting, wouldn't it (And I'm sure Jaz wouldn't want to be pulled). Lady Huskers are a Good Team and well-coached. But the truth is Iowa is an Elite Team, better coached. Question IS: What Are We (Admin) Going to Do About It?
  20. Not Surprising. Elite Players & Elite Coaching vs Good Players and Good Coaching! 2-Point trys: ... IA - 39; NE - 31 .... (Shots Made: IA - 22; NE - 15) 3-Pointers: ... IA - 20; NE - 33 .... (Treys Made: IA - 10; NE - 7) FINAL:
