Have to agree on All (The Good And the Bad). First Half they played Just like a Team that hadn't played a game in 2 weeks (only a 3 pt lead at halftime, if Jaz's half-court heave hadn't gone in); getting it more together in the 2nd. Not taking away anything from Missouri State, they are a Good team (won 20 games this season) and were fun to watch (if they were playing anybody but Nebraska). Like Karl, I was Very surprised at the Points in the Paint differential (40 vs 22); Excluding Sam (well, because that's just what Sam Does), it would be much closer - any closer and we could have lost the game). We didn't seem to be able to 'Put them away' their largest lead was only 2 pts, but we let them 'hang around.' Matt & Jeff commented (or Jeff's comment) that he'd like to see us playing more downhill in our scoring drives. Like Karl, I'd like to see Alexis become an 'unstoppable ' force in the paint. It didn't seem like the rebounding emphasis was there like it was in some previous games (losing that battle along with 2nd chance points). But we controlled our turnovers well, got more blocks, steals & Fast Break points. ON to Colorado State/Northern Iowa!

Thanks for clarifying @Huskerpapa . That is something I find puzzling. For example, when Tim Miles was recruiting Nebraska, especially Omaha it seems, I remember seeing comments from the local coaches saying something like: 'We don't hear from Nebraska' as an excuse. I don't understand this because it seems to me that recruiting is, or should be, a 'two-way Street, rather than a 'one-way street' implied by those comments. Are the coaches saying they won't send their players to Nebraska because they don't hear from Nebraska? It seems to me that if a HS coach has a talented player (who is in a better position to know than the HS coach), shouldn't he feel an obligation to make sure that player gets the maximum exposure to All the schools that might be interested in him? Honest question! Does Bill Self pander to Kansas HS coaches to get their recruits?

Probably just the way it is worded. But whether Issis and Jaz will be returning does seem like the 64 thousand dollar question.

San Jose State Wins it: 81-77 OT despite chocking on 4 (per announcer, I counted 3) FTS in OT. Nevada called for an intentional foul (flagrant 1) w/5.5 sec left sending SJSU to the line, makes both. Announcer said it was the 1st time SJSU has won a game in the Mountain West Conference (was 0-8). Post-game Interview was Classic Tim Miles! (One can't help but like the guy! )

Nail-biter in Las Vegas. San Jose State up by 2 (65-63) with 33.3 sec left. NV with the ball. Nevada scores to tie @ 20.0 sec. San Jose St misses a trey; Going to OT.
