Especially when your league has as good or better coaching than any other league. The teams in our league certainly get better for the most part.

We were a tourney team last year. By the end of the year, the league was far better than the perception was and the ridiculous reliance on the RPI to develop the quadrants was devastating.

i didn't just blame the injury for this mess. I said if we didn't have the injury, I would still have hope of turning it around.

what really sucks is that if Copeland were healthy and we were going through this, I would still have hope we can get going. As is, we cannot. It is a horrible job of building depth, and developing young players. I don't think it matters if we were to fire Miles in season. We just are not good. Don't recruit enough shooting, and can't coach them on improving shooting. It is sad. Lot of good people in this fan base. They deserve some success. I hope like hell we spend the necessary money to get the right guy. I would pay a large sum of money to be able to help select it. If only that were possible.

It is really quite something and speaks to how critical Smith was at the X and O portion of the game. Hell, he was even able to create a more functional offense than this mess when the only options were a Gallegos trey or Talley making some kind of play up against the shot clock.

watson shot not going to get better if shooting with sidespin and wrong form. Needs a coach with him to explain what tweeks are needed. We clearly don't have good shooting coaches. I also wonder if we are on the wrong lifting program. It is mind boggling how our shooters get worse in their time here so often. Rarely do they improve, and that should happen with almost everyone.
