Seems games at PSU have always been close, fairly low scoring affairs (in the 60's). A big part of the beat down in the 2nd half at home was Taylor getting fouls 3 and 4 in the first minute of the half. I don't see something like that happening at PSU. Heck, NU usually gets very little benefit of the doubt from the 3 stooges at home, let alone on the road. Unless PSU shoots really poorly, this will probably be a dogfight. They have been playing pretty decent ball of late.

That effing POS has skyrocketed past Aaron Craft as my most hated player of all time. What a effing prima donna, crybaby, jive turkey. Bull in a china shop. Allowed to set illegal screens all night. Allowed to hook the defender all night. Allowed to run full speed from the 3-point line an body block his defender trying to establish position in the lane. Allowed to flail his arms, throw shoulders.

I'd really like an official to explain what the defender is supposed to do in that situation. McVeigh DID NOT move. The offensive player spun and initiated the contact. Complete BS.

It's kind of disrespectful, IMO. Seems like they did that for another NU game this year as well. Further evidence of the ESPiN conspiracy against Nebraska! I wonder how hard that would be to announce a game you are not attending. On whistles, it was definitely difficult for them to verify if a foul had been called or not and, if so, on who, unless they could hear whichever of the 3 stooges was making the call to the scorer's table.

I was going to post the same thing about Cincore - great game getting in Powers' head. Powers is a great player and has hurt Nebraska in past games. She absolutely should have been T'd up after she committed 3 molestations on one play in the span of about 2 seconds late in the game and they finally called a foul and she still got up pitching a fit. Her bitching, whining, crying and 'woe-is-me' face went on the entire 2nd half. Refs should have taken control of that BS. Great game by Cincore and the Lady Huskers! I didn't think they had it in them.

Seems like Tai has gone back into his funk with the poor body language (hanging his head, not running back to the bench at a time out, etc.) after he makes a mistake or misses a shot for the past few games. Need him to regain the confidence he exhibited for several games that made a threat off the bench. Need him to contribute on the offensive end with Shields out, 'cause White isn't gonna score 35 against the better teams coming up - they'll have the players and schemes to slow him down.

I only saw the last 13 minutes of the game, and he was horrible. Couldn't stop gushing about Wiscy. Of course, NU did absolutely nothing to praise, so I guess he had to talk about something.

+10,000. The few times I've seen them play, they consistently make poor decisions on passes and compound that with lazy passes, primarily trying to feed Shepherd down low or on fast breaks. The amount of turnovers this year is mind-boggling.

I think one of biggest things all the young big guys need to work on during the offseason in conditioning is hand strength. Too many balls are easily stripped or blocked. These guys have some obvious abilities that will improve exponentially if they can fight through the strips, blocks and associated fouls that accompany them.

I still say the officiating sucked!
