  1. Seems like Tai has gone back into his funk with the poor body language (hanging his head, not running back to the bench at a time out, etc.) after he makes a mistake or misses a shot for the past few games. Need him to regain the confidence he exhibited for several games that made a threat off the bench. Need him to contribute on the offensive end with Shields out, 'cause White isn't gonna score 35 against the better teams coming up - they'll have the players and schemes to slow him down.
  2. It's kind of disrespectful, IMO. Seems like they did that for another NU game this year as well. Further evidence of the ESPiN conspiracy against Nebraska!

  4. I only saw the last 13 minutes of the game, and he was horrible. Couldn't stop gushing about Wiscy. Of course, NU did absolutely nothing to praise, so I guess he had to talk about something.

  6. +10,000. The few times I've seen them play, they consistently make poor decisions on passes and compound that with lazy passes, primarily trying to feed Shepherd down low or on fast breaks. The amount of turnovers this year is mind-boggling.

  10. I think one of biggest things all the young big guys need to work on during the offseason in conditioning is hand strength. Too many balls are easily stripped or blocked. These guys have some obvious abilities that will improve exponentially if they can fight through the strips, blocks and associated fouls that accompany them.
  11. I still say the officiating sucked!
  12. From the replay, his head, neck and back all hit hard at the same time.
  13. He wasn't moving, but it looked like they were talking to him.
  14. Hard to tell - didn't really look like his head took most of the hit - more on his left shoulder, arm and back. Now they're bringing in a stretcher.
  15. +1 Then he gets beat in transition on the other end.
  16. Three stooges incompetence on display once again. Miss the goal tending on Watson's layup, miss the foul on White's rebound putback, and then call a foul on Jacobson.
  17. I like the kid from the other team who looks at the bench and shrugs "What the #$%^^#$^@ am I supposed to do?" after the guy makes a basket at about 1:00 of the video!

  19. I have a question for those more 'in-the-know' than me, but I've wondered all year why Kalenta doesn't get more playing time. It seems when she gets some minutes, she hustles and puts up decent stats. Doesn't practice well? Doesn't play good defense? Not productive against the better competition from teams better than PSU? Doesn't fit the system Yori wants to run? Nagging injuries? Just not as good as the other players at the position? I suppose it's a combination of some or all of those. Just curious - she seems to be a pretty decent player that could give the starters more of a blow, which, IMO, seems to be a perennial problem for Yori's teams - 3-4 players often go several games in a row playing 36-40 minutes and simply get worn down.

  21. Seems like on a pretty consistent basis, NU finds a way to let a relatively poor 3-point shooting team or very poor 3-point shooting individual light it up. I don't know what the answer is, but you'd think that eventually, some of that shooting would tend to go more towards NU's side of the ledger. Hammons, over his career, has been very spotty with his intensity level. Unfortunately, he was dialed in today.
