This medical redshirt discussion takes me back to the Cookie Belcher days. Danny almost got his ass in trouble for publicly speaking about how many games he could play....

During the state tourney last year, I was listening to I believe Sharp and Benning, and one of them said while leaving the first game of the tourney Heiman played in, they overheard two people talking the reason Creighton is Creighton and Nebraska is Nebraska is instate talent. Creighton signs Patton and Nebraska gets Heiman. I have two words for those people: Bite me.

The only Duke loss I care about is to us in the NCAA Tourney. ?

Flemings is way over priced and their steaks aren't all that good. Kinda like Omaha Steaks. Oops, did I say that out loud?

Norm, if you're trying to impress Vera, and not afraid to spend some coin, I would suggest Monarch Prime in the Hotel Deco at 15th and Harney. Really nice atmosphere and really nice people. If you want a great steak or burger and you want more of a casual atmosphere, the best restaurant in Omaha by far is Angus Burgers and Shakes on S. 168th just north of Tiburon. I might be a little biased on that one....

I'm not sure about this "we" stuff. I'm naturally prejudiced for a name that sounds like cows. Their offspring are very tasty! If his last name sounded like tofu, I'd hate the SOB.

It was so refreshing with the hiring of Scott Frost, to have everyone from administration on down to the coaching staff, on the same page and happy. I don't think that has ever happened in my lifetime for men's basketball. Maybe in the early 60's, but I was focused on playing with tinker toys then....

I had a lot of windshield time today, so I got my share of local sports talk. After the first segment or two, I was already tired of hearing about the Creighton game. It's like it's old news. I expect much more out of this team than just beating Creighton. I believe the team does, too. I don't begrudge anyone to keep talking about the win over the Bluejays for the rest of this week or year for that matter. I just wish we played Okie State on Wednesday. Bring on the rest of the season!

We're beating Creighton like a rented mule today, and we're starting a new streak. We don't lose another game in this series while there is still breath in my body. That would be 2058. ?
