Yeah, a lot of people are whistling past the graveyard. Screw that. The availability or not, of an opposing player at tip off, just shows me another reason why the Huskers are having the season they're having!

All the responses are 100% correct. Coaching, players, unselfishness and everything else mentioned has added up to 98% of the reason the Huskers are where they are. I think the last 2% to get them over the hump was fan reaction this year. Don't laugh. At the beginning of this season, many fans thought this would be another 90-91 type of season. Positive vibes everywhere! This board, with a few exceptions, (you know who you are), has said more optimistic words about this team than in any year I can remember since I started posting here. Good vibrations really help! That's why we win a fifth conference game in a row by more than 15 points tonight!

It's all good. The way I see it, we're playing with house money tonight. We got the road win last week, so that monkey is off our back. I see the Huskers coming out hot tonight and punching Ohio State in the mouth. After that, we can't give up big runs and we won't! GBR!

I know there are X's and O's guys here that know a hell of a lot more than this court jester does about basketball. But it seems to me, that the defense the Huskers are running seems to get better as the season progresses. If it's true not many teams run up against it, does that not bode well for the Huskers?
