As will I. As will I.

Because of friends from Hamburg, I'm really partial to Hamburger SV, but since the (sob) relegation, I've adopted Schalke for the time being because of McKennie.
-
His mother disagrees. I hit .231 my senior year.

@colhusker Mark Belanger had a career BA of .228. In 2018, MLB pitchers hit .115. If Mark Belanger (BTW, we're old if we remember him) hit .115, he would not have lasted long. On edit: Mendoza's career BA was .215.

Plus, if you build a club that plays 152 of 162 games WITH a DH, you have to change your whole lineup (likely weakening it both offensively AND defensively) in order to play a game that only one league in the entire world uses, at any level. But I'm biased as a fan of the Royals. I'm neither lovable enough to be a Cubs fan nor smart enough to be a Cardinals fan (#BFIB!).

Just to add to the comparison: Eduardo was born in 2001, Yvan in March 2002. So Eduardo is at least a few months older than Yvan.
-
You should watch the Royals, then. We never hit three HRs in a game.
-
Pretty clear eight-man rotation out of that: Webster Allen Banton Stephenson Ouedraogo Walker Mayen Thor 9 and 10 if waivered: King McGowens Off the bench in a pinch: Arop Andre

In the modern game, there is one position on the field that is vastly more important than any of the other eight. I'll let you guess which one. You wanna let MadBum or Greinke hit, that's great. But I'm not going to promote a .150 or worse hitting shortstop to the majors, no matter how good he his in the field. I will with a pitcher who can't hit a lick because he's worth it. But he's not worth watching hit. It's the most boring part of NL ball. Ooh, strategy: should he bunt or strike out? Such a tough call.
-
You go ahead and DH for your shortstop, and I'll DH for my pitcher. I bet I win more games. In short, pitchers have an outsized impact on the game compared to other players.
-
I think field-goal kickers ought to have play center. And quarterbacks should be linebackers on D. The age of the specialist has been here for decades. And the National League is the only baseball league anywhere at any level that makes pitchers (try to) hit. Or should I write "bunt." Nothing more boring than watching a pitcher fan or look at three pitches and then head back to the dugout to rest.

Never heard of it.

Only for the KOB. A Sunday morning game in Seoul is on Saturday night here. I'll watch that live.
-
If MLB would just move all games to Seoul for the year, the lineup could look like this at the nine Korean ballparks: Nine MLB games at 9 a.m. Korean time (8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT) all live on U.S. television Six MLB games at 1 p.m. Korean time (midnight ET/ 11 p.m. CT/10 p.m. MT/9 p.m. PT) all live on U.S. television The five KOB games could then be played at 6:30 p.m. Korea time, and if you wanna watch them at 5:30 a.m. CT, you do you. Three weeks of spring training wherever it's safe, preceding an opening day around June 1. 102-game season (17 weeks) with playoffs and WS in October.

I'm thinking of setting up a livestream of my doing the New York Times crossword puzzle every morning on the chance that ESPN might pick it up. Wish me luck!

I, too, am a Dinos fan. Great opening day win.

Is anyone else just jonesing to see a highlight reel of all those guys just shooting free throws? I think last year's experience may have left some deep psychic scars.
