In conference games at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, Nebraska is shooting 35 percent from 3-point territory (30 of 86), while the visiting teams are shooting 42 percent (33 of 79). If you take out Minnesota's miserable effort, NU's opponents are shooting 48 percent.
In conference games on the road, Nebraska is shooting 37 percent from 3-point range (24 of 65), while the home teams are shooting 35 percent (31 of 89).
Of course, Nebraska's home opponents have generally been better than our road opponents, but it's interesting that opposing teams feel so comfortable hoisting 3's in an unfamiliar gym, while the Huskers' shooting percentage is slightly better in unfamiliar gyms.
It also appears that Huskers "love the rim" on the road more than they do at home.
Could be a statistical anomaly that will even itself out over the final 10 conference games.
