It's a great experience. Good fans. I taught for four years at KU, and they're to basketball what Nebraska fans are to college football.
But if you see someone in a Pugh, Kellogg or Hunter jersey, smack 'em upside the head.
Who do you see pulling something like that?
Not any individual, but as an institution and a member of the mighty Big Ten, will Nebraska feel it's above a CBI berth? I think we should take any invitation we get, but I don't know the athletic department's mindset.
Colorado went to the CBI last year, and was the only team from a major conference to do so.
Before the game, however, the Buffs' best player, senior Askia Booker, told the coaches his career was over and that he wouldn't be playing in the CBI.
So there's that dynamic in play.
Vitto Brown, F 6-7 3-3 3-4 0 5 5 2 1 1 2 1 18
6-7 FG, 3-3 3P, 3-4 FT, 5 R, 1 Foul, 18 Pts.
he's a 40 percent FG shooter, and 28 percent from 3. He does shoot 77 percent from the line and average 5 rebounds, though.
Makes home game against PSU next Saturday tougher than it should be.
At Wisconsin and at Indiana were going to be difficult W's anyway.
I hope it's not too much to want him to play in the final four (games — well, in the Final Four, too):
2/20 Ohio State
2/25 at Penn State
3/1 Purdue
3/5 at Northwestern
