    Dalano Banton Picked in the 2nd Round of the 2021 NBA Draft

    Dalano Banton and his unique combination of length and court vision in combination with his showing at the G-League combine was enough for the Toronto Raptors to pull the trigger at Pick #46.  The Toronto native becomes the first Canadian picked by the Raptors and the 2nd Husker drafted since 2019 (Isaiah Roby)

    Just want to reemphasize. This is a big deal.

     

    Only two Nebraska guys drafted in the NBA in the 2000s. Both within the last two years.

     

    And what's great is that we're probably going to see a couple more come out of our current roster. A pipeline to the NBA is a major selling point in recruiting. Let's continue to pump that pipeline!

    Beyond exciting. We all wish we had had another banton year, he's like a lankier SGA, he's amazing. Real happy here, I don't think it could be more of a win-win for all parties involved as it turned out!

    So happy I renewed this year, can't wait to see college ball in PBA again,  and in person.

    A major knock on wood too for covid, f™™™ covid and delta, we need our bball!!!! ^_^:D
