We HAVE to keep it close.  Can NOT let it get away from us.  You could see it with Illinois today... once the game started getting away... their wind went too.

I think if you keep it close, those thoughts of tired legs stay at bay.  If it starts to get away... mentally you start to think about how exhausted you are.

Yeah, which is why I don't think it is a time to sit guys with two fouls like I said in the other thread.  We have got to do anything and everything to be ahead or very close the entire way.  Once it gets away, we aren't likely to have the energy to come back.  Energy won't be a big problem as long as we are engaged in the game, like you mentioned.

Yep... Purdue is good and Illinois is bad... BUT I do not think Purdue is 35-40 points better.

Easily rather play Michigan.  That being said, the size issue should not be quite as big a problem as it has been.  We have not had even a mediocre defensive gameplan against them yet.  If we play our standard d, with hard agressive doubles that make them uncomfortable we can beat that team.  The far bigger issue is Michigan St.

Certainly rooting for Ohio State.  They are still playing for an at large so they need this one bad.

If, by some miracle, we win tonight, I sure hope we're playing Ohio State tomorrow rather than Michigan State.
