Shields + White + Team

Shavon has been on fire since his recent return to the lineup following the concussion vs Rutgers in Lincoln. The past two games Shields has 57 points; unfortunately, it has coincided with White only having 12 points in those 2 ballgames when AW-III was nursing a shoulder stinger from practice a week ago.

 

For the season, Shavon now leads the team in scoring at 16.7 ppg while Andrew is at 16.6 ppg.

 

 

Nebraska needs a great effort from both Shields & White vs Northwestern. AW-III needs to be hitting the three-ball while SS finds a driving lane. Webster & Watson need to orchestrate with Benny & his jets out on the break. Morrow & Jacobson on the glass. Jack hitting some deep bombs. Total team effort, and it will take a collective great effort to get that dub. Let's do it. GBR

I don't think Northwestern is that good of a team where the whole team has to be on their A game. Now they are good enough where Shields will not be able to beat them single handedly.

I agree Auroran and hope the resignation Tim Miles talked about after last nights game is let go and the guys come out ready to play.  This is a very winnable game IF the team shows up.

The context is that the team has only had 30 points in two straight games while Shavon has had 25 and 32. Need a total team effort to get it done. Not all players have to play out of their minds, but they collectively need to play better as a whole.
