Our inside guys are not going against 7 footers, it just seems like they are always out of position or they let the post players get great position down low.

The worst is the constant "help" where our post only slows the penetration enough to open up the opposing post for the lob

I hate Ticky tack fouls in the post on possession and then you can hammer a guy on the other end! Happened both ways tonight.

The one that made me furious was the call on Jacobson, when he beat Bryant to the spot.  Should have been a no call.  What is he supposed to do?  Let him camp down on the blocks, and dunk over you.  Also, need some help from the guards.  Need to make it difficult to get the ball to the post inside.  A lot of post defense is more of a team defense.  First, the center needs to keep the guy away from the blocks.  Then, the guards have to get into the passing lanes to deny an easy pass into the lane.  They also have to stay in front their guy and make sure he doesn't beat you to force your big guy to help.  If he does beat you players have to rotate off their man, and guard the guy down low.
