This is a tourney that needs a different NU...

I've floated the idea of Nebraska playing Mizzou, K-State & KU in a tourney with a few other participants of local/regional flavor in a holiday event. Why not our 'NU' instead of the north side of Chicago-style?

What would be really interesting: a tournament featuring Kansas/State, Mizzou, Nebraska, and Colorado, as a mini-Big 12 North reunion tourney. Keep the South teams far away

I've been pumping this for a few years. Add Iowa State as well... It would be a great event, you could even invite a few local/regional teams like UMKC and UNO. It would draw A LOT of regional attendance, and perhaps some television appeal as well.

Sure, why not. If KU, KSU, Mizzou & possibly UMKC are 'in', then NU, CU & possibly UNO could certainly all participate in an event like that.
