Of course we didn't need Andre before conference because he didn't physically match up with anyone and now that we are in conference and need his size, he is injured.

was pleasantly surprised with serg's moves although i cant get over the fact that the game was over and it was probably like ohio state's 3rd center. also concerning the game, i would have figured going into the game that this was the score i expected to see, but at the same time, i was certainly pissed in a few instances. case in point was in the 1st half when they miss the second FT, get the board, miss that shot, get another board, and it's string music on a wide open 3. that being said, we will see just how good of a coach we have this year. it's easy to sit here and say how you will always be excited to play whoever in every conference game because the big ten is the best in the country. but at the same time, tonight was the norm and not the exception for us this year in the conference. ultimately, this season will be a drag for all of us, but moreso for the guys who will likely get pounded on the scoreboard more often than not. if miles can still have us inspired and ready to go in february when we will have very few, if any conference wins (which i think he will be able to do with the team) i will feel even better with him as our head man even though the nation might be laughing at us right now.

Hey... cannot complain that we were right in it at the 6 minute mark left in the first half. It stunk though to see them go on that run to end the first half. I was disappointed even though this was the score I was thinking before the game. I saw flashes of what looked like a team that could hang with the bottom 6 to 7 of the Big 10 this year. The bad thing is I also saw flashes of a team that could go 2-16.

We will see what this team is made of Sunday I think. Wisconsin is beatable, we are banged up, and we are at home. I hope to see the guys fight Sunday, and stay in the game. Hey if we can sneak out a win Sunday, we will be 1-1. The following two are tough road games, before playing a few more winnable games.

Sunday... Wisconsin... Head up, and keep fighting.

Looks like we all picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

We should not have won this game...given the talent difference, we shouldn't have been within 20 points...and that happened. But three things stood out to me in a negative way:

1) - Dylan gets fouled on a 3 pt shot, and promptly missed all three free throws...this can't happen...ever.

2) - We were down by 5 (20-15 I think) and we can't rebound a miss, we give them three opportunities, and they score.

3) - During the first 4 or 5 minutes of the game, we do not get it into the paint, at all...this can't happen.

Other things...we cannot get out hustled. We did again tonight. Any loose ball went the way of Ohio. Given the talent gaps that exist, one thing we can do better than anyone else is hustle. Perhaps we simply run out of steam and cannot get the bodies to make that sacrifice? Our bench is now even shorter. I feared that Andre would not be able to stay healthy throughout the year, and that fear came to fruition tonight. Man, it would be nice to have JBD right now.

We sure brick a lot of short shots. Shots that we should be making. If we make those shots, we would be much better off.

This is not all negative, there are glimpses of positivity. It is just hard to grasp them after a blow out like tonight.

Well we made the SC Top 10 tonight.... twice!! Too bad it was for the wrong reasons.
