Slowly but surely we can start to piece it together. So far, in no order:

@UCONN

Creighton

North Carolina State

@Cal

That's a pretty good schedule so far. Good RPI with Cal and UCONN even if we lose (plus obviously lots of experience against good competition). Thoughts so far?

Connie seems to have a balanced non-conference schedule.  The team will be tested but that's OK.  Getting on national TV to play UConn can be a plus.  UConn has to schedule tough non-conference because their league is pitiful outside of South Florida.

We always hear Coach Yori talking about RPI, so I dug up last years RPI rankings and looked at how each of NU's opponents scheduled in this years non-conference fared. The Huskers wound up ranked #34. The lowest ranked team is #349. Take note that this is a different season so these rankings will be different.  I didn't go and look to see what each team has coming back, (although UConn has 4 starters returning) All-in-all it looks like a good mixture of cupcakes and tough games and should help get the Huskers ready for the B1G.

Arkansas Pine/Bluff - #334

North Florida - #242

North Carolina Central - #339

Southern University - #219

UConn - #4

NC State - #77

Creighton - #85

Evansville - #244

California - #24

Northern Arizona - #268

Arkansas St. - #46
