If we don't close the scoring gap soon, would like to see Jamine and Kalenta seeing several minutes of playing time going into the Big Ten tournament.

cincore has played well

Tell you what - I will be happy to finish in the top half of the Big 10 next year. The league has improved tremendously and so much young talent this year that will be even better next year. OSU, Maryland, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and so many others are all going to be tough.

Ohio State is scary good.  Athletic teams have always hurt NU.  It will be tough to keep pace with some of the teams in this league.

The 4 Seniors are going to be missed tremendously.

Imagine, Illinois beat OSU so the game Wednesday will be difficult with Ivory Crawford back from injury.

I was just looking at Ohio State's schedule. They lost at Maryland early by 9, lost at Michigan by 6 in OT, lost at home to Minny by 4, lost at Iowa by 8, lost at Illinois by 11. Played both michigan and Iowa again and won both of those. They shot under 37% at Illinois and Mitchell fouled out in that game, so maybe that was their turd game. They could surprise someone in the NCAA tourney.

crap. deep down, i was afraid of this. pretty impressive to smack someone like that on their home court. too big of a talent difference. quick, good ball handlers, and the biggest difference, they can score.

i was watching the earlier games  and the commentator said she asked Brenda Frese, "what she looks for in recruits, character.........." Frese told her "scorers". for the most part, i guess every coach wants those, it's just getting them to commit. "Location, location, location" doesn't hurt either.

i know in an earlier post, i gave my top 3 for going into next year---had Maryland on top, then minny, and OSU. i think it would be wise to flip minny and OSU. man, OSU will be tough for awhile. just like Maryland. i do still think minny will have a chance to be pretty darn good with one caveat---as long as Banham returns as good as she was before the injury.
