An open apology to the HHC board

All -- I'd like to apologize to this board for the ZERO brackets that have come from me this year. At a time when we really needed them, I failed all of you. I've been so busy with work and working on a new media venture that's its been a rough winter. I'll even say this. I've got to the point where I don't even watch the games anymore for fear I'll jinx our boys. The last game I really was Ohio State at home. I usually just try to follow along on my phone. Last Sunday, I was on my way to Nashville for a trade show and started crying in the truck. My co-workers think I'm an idiot. Oh well. 

 

My new venture, is, however, sports related. Some of you followed me on Twitter @theprephuddle which was an old website I used to have an couldn't keep up with. I finally got some help. Now, that Twitter handle is @strivsports and you can follow me personally @tony_chapman76 if you wish. My first project is about the 1989 state finals. If you get a minute, give it a read. It's a fun trip down memory lane.

Ah, the Wahoo game.  I was there...wearing green and gold.  Loudest I've ever heard at the Devaney Center, or for any game for that matter, until last Sunday.

Guys -- Thanks for the kind words about striv. We hope the added sports platform will give some more "stories" behind the teams. We are also planning a live show during the week starting in the fall.
